Over a year ago, my wife passed away, and in the meantime, I decided to collect several of her things and make a memory box of them, mainly for our young grandchildren who will never have the chance to get to know her in person.At first, I had these items in a large plastic storage bin. That just didn't seem like a nice enough storage option for memory items of her, but when I saw this set of small metal trunks, these felt right.I am SO glad that I came across these trunks. They were perfect for my needs. I have them in a closet, they they are small enough to slide under a bed, if that works better for your storage needs.The closure is a leather strap that loops over a knob. If you want/need something you can lock, then these won't work for you, but if you are looking for a decorative set of trunks for, oh, say toys, or memories, or whatever, these are awesome.So, for me and my needs, these are a 5-star product.

Really like the neutral colors. Work with many styles of decor.We are trying to get to a.... leaning minimalist/boho/rustic/zen/whimsical style. Is it doable? We don't know yet, but we are trying.These trunks do seem to fit in. We have them on the lower shelf of our wood stove for now . In the Fall, we'll have to come up with another location.They will house household items: light bulbs, batteries, trash bags, flashlights etc.You will have to be careful of overfilling as the handles seem too delicate for the size and material of the trunks.The clasp is just decorative. Look nice.I like them, but just make sure you know what you are getting.When I received them the price was not discounted, and was too high. Glad to see the reduction.

These storage trunks are sturdy and decorative. They can be stacked on top of each other (or nested when not in use). There are padded feet on the bottom to prevent sliding or scratching when stacked.I really like the green trunk in particular within this color combination. We ordered two other color combinations as well, and have been using them in different rooms and closets to store small items.While the leather loop closure can be a little more troublesome to undo than some other types of closures, they can also be left undone if you are using the trunk to store things at home that need to be accessed often. The trunks are not really designed for traveling since the leather closure won’t really hold up to that. They are definitely better suited to home storage.There are handles on each side that make lifting one trunk off the other very easy.These will probably last a long time and seem durable.

These come extremely well packaged so under most circumstances you shouldn’t have to worry about any damage. Good job manufacturers! These are beautifully made with all bends and welds looking great. The colors and paint are absolutely gorgeous. They’re probably about as thick of metal as a file cabinet so they are not heavy. They have handles on both ends to help with carrying. They have stoppers on the lid so they don’t over open and bend the hinges or bump anything. I do feel for the price they could have done a better job with the latch system as it’s just a leather strap over the knob on front. For us they’re strictly living room decor/storage so it doesn’t matter but any real world use it could. Overall these are great larger metal storage boxes. They’re built to last and show it. Great quality product

These metal box trunks are very sturdy and well-made. They're great for decorations and can be used as storage for light items. The quality of the metal is a bit thin in comparison to a metal toolbox, but it's still very strong and is easy to carry from the side handles. The leather strap and brass knob is very decorative and offers a small amount of security in preventing the lid from easily popping open. But you can always customize it by adding a latch if you're capable. There are no padding or cushion inside the metal boxes, so it wouldn't be great for delicate items but you could add some custom interior padding to meet your use. The paint colors are very well-done and gives off that nice vintage look. The finishing is quite smooth except along the edges where is can be a bit rugged. There are some cushion padding on the bottom to protect your shelf or floor surfaces but they're a bit thin and could use an upgrade. Overall, these vintage metal boxes are very decorative and great for event staging or storing light items on shelf. They are definitely eye-catching in the room.

When I ordered these metal trunks, I thought there were smaller storage boxes. So I was a little surprised to see how big they actually are! You can fit all kinds of stuff in these trunks. I'm using them to store guitar cables, pedals, adaptors, etc in my office and home music space.These are stylish and well made. The handles on the side are convenient. I like the leather strap clasp. It's a nice touch. I like the green and blue colors. My wife says they are masculine colors, but that works for me! LOLIf you have kids with toys everywhere, get a set of these. Electronics or old albums to store? Try these. I like them. You probably will, too.

These are rather large. In the photo, they are sitting on my queen size bed. They are well-made. The lids can stay up on their own with a nice hinge. I’m not a huge fan of the leather loop, because I’m not sure how long that strip of leather will last, but it looks nice. It is just tied (knotted on the inside of the lid) so you could get some more leather string from the craft store, if it should ever break. I got these as memory trunks for my husband and myself, and we like them very much.
