This is stunning. I gave this to my daughter and you should have seen the smile on her face. She's worn it to college for the past 2 days (since I gave it to her). I know it says a mother's day present on the description, but I guess that's just a suggestion.The necklace or chain isn't really anything special, but its the same colour as the silver coloured metal so that's fine. It's the pendant that is really something special. There is a crystal studded strip that spans the height of the pendant, almost akin to a treble clef, with a silver coloured heart on it. The colours of the big blue heart are wonderful and really sparkles in the light.The claps seemed strong and there was plenty of length to the chain. In the picture, there is a lot left dangling at the back, so you can wear it long or short, what ever you prefer.In short, this is a beautiful necklace.
