I mean you can’t beat this, a big box of hooks in many different sized, they are high quality and come with their own little tackle box. Good value for sure. Caught many fish on this, mostly saltwater.

Not as sharp as goma, but not as expensive either.They work ok.

This collection of hooks is an excellent value. The hooks are sharp, consistent, and made of high carbon steel with a black chrome finish. They are equivalent in quality to the major premium brands, but at a fraction of the cost. I would absolutely recommend this set for anyone who does a fair amount surf fishing, where you are likely to need a variety of sizes depending on what is running at any given time. The range of sizes included here will have you prepared for everything from pompano and whiting/sea mullet (size #1) up to small black tip sharks (8/0), and everything in between. The high carbon steel is also less likely to bend under heavy loads compared to stainless steel. The clamshell case is a nice touch for those of us who try to travel as light as possible, and also adds an extra layer of protection from salt air for those who use traditional tackleboxes. I've used these on my last two outings and they have performed flawlessly so far.Of course, these will perform best when used as intended. Please take a second to make sure that you are ordering what's right for you. There is often a lot of confusion around the terminology used for hooks, hopefully this breakdown will help if you are unsure:These are Saltwater Octopus style Offset Circle Hooks."Saltwater" simply means that they can be used in saltwater as well as freshwater. Basically, they are a bit more corrosive resistant."Octopus" is a term used to signify that the eye of the hook is bent at an angle, rather than running straight in line with the rest of the shank. The eye is bent this way in order to allow you to more easily tie your line directly to the shank, as you would with a snell knot. They are often used in drop loop set-ups as well.A "Circle" hook has a point that points back towards the shank, rather than straight up like a standard "J" hook. This results in a shape that can range from subtly different like these, all the way to something that resembles an actual circle. This design is meant to prevent gut hooks and only hook the fish as it is leaving their mouth. You do not actively set the hook with circle hooks."Offset" means that the point isn't pointing directly at the shank, but is offset by somewhere between 5-15 degrees. This increases your hook up ratio, but it also results in slightly more gut hooks. It's still significantly better than a standard "J" hook, however. If you are fishing in a protected area, or are targeting a specific species, make sure to know the local regulations. Some areas do restrict offset circle hooks in certain scenarios.

This is a very nice assortment of Octopus Hooks. The set comes with 8 different sized hooks. I fished for several different saltwater species, speckled trout, stripers, flounder, and redfish / drum. I love to fish live bait and octopus hooks are what I use. If you fish it correctly the hook basically sets itself in the corner of the mouth. Octopus hooks help to lessen the chance of gut hooked fish. That is really important to me because I catch / photo and release the fish I catch. I also fish saltwater kayak tournaments and while live bait is allowed, octopus hooks are required.These hooks are well made, sharp and high quality. Since I often target different species on the same trip the various sizes in the set are perfect for me. Super happy with the quality, quantity and assortment. I would definitely recommend these hooks!
