Please keep in mind, no matter what you do the laws of thermodynamics are absolute, at the end of the day an all in one portable unit with the hot part inside your house will never be as efficient as a window unit or integrated one.That being said this one works great for what it is, it cools the room well and can knock a few degrees off as long as it's set up and sealed properly, which I mean for the British summertime it is more than enough to keep a small room comfortable, this isn't just feeling either I did a proper test with thermometers, it actually does work.Though bare in mind the 9000BTU rating, while accurate, is not as effective on a portable AIO unit like this (again the hot part of the reaction is going to be inside the house) so it will only manage a much smaller room than normal like a bedroom, don't expect it to work very well for an office unit or a big living room.again though, for what it is I would highly recommend this, it's a good price and you wont be getting a paperweight like one of those dehumidifier ones that DO NOTHING, at the end of the day for a functional air conditioner that actually cools the room? this is pretty much one of the best prices you will get.Also I will say the added function of a dehumidifier and a heater on top of just having a regular fan mode really does make this much more worth it as a sale, as it can be used all year round instead of going into the closet for 9 months of the year, but keep in mind the dehumidifier tank is quite small and will need to be changed regularly if you use it for this.

Overall the product is very good at the tasks it was designed to do, it heats a room 10' x 11' very well and quickly. The air conditioner also does its task well in the same size room.The instruction book is lacking in detail as to the use and fitting of the item, so could do with a detailed update.The only draw backs I found were, it needs to be drained and vented even on heating cycle, and best to have it permanently drained. Also, it would be better if when on heating cycle, the actual fan switched off when it reaches temperature.However, overall performance very good, especially for the price.

The hose attachments don’t attach so no clue whether this works well or not.

I have been reviewing air con units for months now and can say I'm very happy with this unit. The window accessorie that comes with the unit doesnt fit my window and I need to purchase the material one but omg with the hose out the window and blinds shut it does an amazing job. I have it in the living room and It even cools the bedroom that is off the living room(I am in an upstairs 4 in a block). It is a bit noisy but i can put yp with that to feel comfortable in this heat. I love that it is 5 in 1 and has a heating setting, I will store and use this in my outside cabin in the colder weather.
