Great Lightweight Sunshade
This a great little sunshade. It's lightweight and compatibility to fold flat makes transportation easy. The only design issue I have is, it would be nice if it was compact enough to fix inside the fly more bag for ease of storage and transportability. But, otherwise it is a great lightweight sunshade.

Seems to be one of the better designed sun shades for DJI RC Remote
I haven't used it out in the sun yet, but the design of the hood is very well thought out. It folds nearly flat, so carrying it with you is convenient, and the mounting clip locks in securely, and the magnets hold the various parts together perfectly.

Great product
This RC hood is so well designed. It allows me to see my RC screen in full Florida sun without interfering with its operation. It is sturdy and well built and uses magnets to hold the hood together and folds up flat and easily fits in my Mavic 3C case. Highly recommend.

not adjustible
Useful but the shade is not flexible in adjustment. Best in only 1 setting. Easily knocked off.

Good quality
As advertised, Nice fit. Really helps in bright sunlight.

lightweight, packs flat
This is a decent shade - it's lightweight, packs flat, and is quick to set up. Generally, we don't have a lot of direct sunlight around when I'm flying, but it's nice to have just in case.

Highly recommended if you orbit the Sun!
I live in Florida so glare is often a way of life. If you're going to fly in the middle of the day, especially, some form of shade is just about required in order to see what you are doing. And of course if you are out flying a drone, you will often find yourself in the middle of an open area sorely lacking said shade. So that's where these hoods come into the mix.I purchased my first drone not long ago and this is my first hood, so I have no basis for comparison against other brands but I'm very impressed with this one. The use of the notches for the extra controller sticks to mount/stabilize the shade is ingenious. That said, if you typically keep your primary or any extra sticks there, they're going to need a new home or you'll have to move them every time you use the hood. The hood mostly (other than the plastic mounting clip) folds flat, which makes it fit into a drone case without issue. Unfolding and mounting it is quite simple, especially with the magnetized panels clicking everything right into place, and there's no way to do it incorrectly so far as I can tell. That makes it quite intuitive. The build material is excellent. It's a black felt on the inside (to maximize the shade of course) and a faux leather/rubberized exterior for durability. So, most importantly, can I now see what I'm doing? I took it out in the middle of a cloudless Florida day for maximum glare when there's no way I could have otherwise seen the screen. This definitely did the trick. Since the hood is not adjustable (which I imagine would make it a far more complicated, and far less flat, product) you do have to hold the controller just so, but I didn't find it to be an unnatural grip or angle. And there's plenty room to get your hand in there to use menu items, etc.Overall, this is going to be an essential piece of my drone kit, at least until I move to a further away planet!

Better flight control for higher safety
As my husband is drone photographer/videographer, his work often has him outside. Having something like this to prevent glare on the screen from sunlight or bright interior lighting is extremely important. He likes that this shade is lightweight and only takes seconds to install, and seconds to remove. No part of the shade interferes with flight or camera controls, though the bottom edges of the sides do rub against the back of his hand between the thumb and index finger as he has large hands. Depending on how long a flight is, this can start to irritate his skin and become a distraction. He's able to work around this (most of the time) by pushing back the cover a little bit so the plastic bracket isn't fully up against the back edge of the controller but still securely attached so the cover won't fall off if caught by a breeze. This shade doesn't interfere with using a neck strap as well, though he's had to make a couple minor adjustments to the custom chest harness/controller platform he uses on extended shoots. The main area of concern with this shade cover is the plastic bracket used to attach the shade to the controller. If anything is going to break, it'll probably be this. Taking time to properly attach and detach the shade will be the best way to prevent breakage. Always remove the shade before storing the drone, store the shade flat, and store the shade where the plastic bracket will be protected in the event something falls on the gear bag where the shade is at or the bag/box the shade is in is dropped, etc. In the 16 years he's been doing this job, we've both seen equipment get damaged under the weirdest, oddest circumstances, so he's always proactive about protecting his (super expensive) gear. Hopefully this shade will stand up to extensive daily use. He's worried about the bracket, I'm worried about the heat sealed seams of the PU covering splitting from so much handling and constant folding and unfolding.
