Not the most attractive
These plastic door protectors are pretty easy to install (assuming you take care to line things up properly the first time) and seem pretty durable. My dog has scratched at them and not damaged the door or caused more than minor damage to the plastic. Based on the paint getting a little peeled while I tried to reposition the plastic while installing it, I do feel like the sheets are likely going to take a significant amount of paint off the door when I go to remove it. Personally, I figure it's easier to repaint the door than to try to fix gouges in the wood itself so I'll accept that trade off. That is something to be aware of though if you're not looking to make that trade.

Keeps the sore safe
I have to put these all the way up the doors to protect them from my one dog, he’s a jumper. They work, I wish they had a little bit of a give to them so I could form them to my door.

Adhesive does NOT come off easily!!!
This product is terrible! I cut and placed it in the inside of my bedroom door due to my dog jumping up and scratching it. Upon placing seeing I was uneven on one side I tried to peel back the tape and it took the paint off my door! So I had just put it back with a crease in attempt to salvage the test if the door. I would NOT recommend this product unless you have a metal or wooden door and even then I would question wether it would take off the clear coating on those. Learn from my mistake and don’t waste your money.

Works great for dog pawing
I got these to keep my dog from scratching up my bedroom door; since I can't always let him sleep in bed with me like he wants and sometimes he has to be confined there when folks come over. They work great for that; but what I didn't expect is that they also mute the sound of his scratching. Be careful when mounting them, though; as the adhesive is VERY sticky. The first time I mounted one, it was misaligned and took up a little paint when I lifted it off. My advice is to peel off a small strip of backing from one side, stick it once it is lined up and then peel off the rest of the backing. I did that on my second attempt and it worked great.

helps but not stops
Stops pets for a little while, but as they kept scratching or chewing it started to get messy like stringy plastic. However still has not given away to allow them to scratch the furniture or railings so it does work. Now for places where pets did stop scratching it does look nice and makes area like washable just spray down.

Not a bad option
It requires a little preparation and cutting - which they have a grid on the back of the strips for. It's a little thinner than I originally anticipated but it seems to be holding up just fine. I cleaned the door before I used these which I think really helped with the adhesion and the tiny little roller was fun as well.Overall, if these are the size you're looking for - not a bad option.

Why didn't I find this sooner!?
We recently moved and our dog is still getting comfortable in his new space. However, when we leave for work I think he gets a little stir crazy. As soon as he hears the garage opening he goes nuts on our laundry room door, he's just so eager to see us.This has caused so much damage to the door now that I have had to sand it down and repaint at least 5-6 times. It's getting to the point that I may just have to replace the door soon. But now those thoughts, hopefully, should be gone forever! After sanding down, re-painting, and letting it dry I applied the protector tape to the door. It is a little tough trying to get one big sheet of this plastic film on the door by myself. Once it is on the door it is tough to get off, which is the point. What I would recommend doing is removing the door by popping out the three pins and laying it down. I just think you'll have better luck doing it that way.I was able to get a L-Shaped piece on the door and I think it looks great! There are a couple bubbles but it's at the bottom of the door so very few people would even notice it. The kit does come with a little, and I mean LITTLE, roller to help smooth out some of the bubbles. Now, I should be able to put the paint away and relax a little! Thank you
