I really like the sturdiness of the posts in a windy environment and the ease in installing removing andd storing the post over winter.

I am so glad I made this purchase. I am an avid Pinterest user and I am very DIY - so I was going to make my own. By the time I figured in what I would need to make them, the price was going to come in a little lower, but with a pretty significant time and energy on my part. The con for me was how hard the DIY ones are to move around. Typically they have to be filled with concrete or dirt, or even dug into the ground. With this product I can put them in the ground and move them if I don't like them. I can have lights around the patio for a sit down type gathering, or I can move them easily closer to the pool for a summer evening swim party. Very easy to use and highly versatile. And sturdy!! Highly recommend

These 10 ft poles were a great choice to hang string lights in our backyard. We followed the directions in terms of max distance between them (and went a bit shorter), and they stand very straight with no pulling/leaning and almost blend into the landscape. They’ve now been through multiple heavy rainstorms throughout the summer and weathered them beautifully. We were so pleased we wound up buying more poles and lights to completely surround the perimeter of the yard.

String light pole is a good quality; however, its height of 10 feet makes it lean when you try to tension the string light. Had to use an antenna pole mount at the top to stabilize the pole to prevent it from leaning.

Update: Addlon customer service has been exceptionally attentive to my concerns (delayed only because I have been lost in the Amazon app trying to find the vendor messaging). I’ve revised my rating for customer service alone!I need light poles that can be attached to a deck railing, and others put into the ground on stakes.These are only light poles with stakes to go in the ground, nothing more is included. I wish I had screenshot the description, and thought I had thoroughly researched this item before purchasing two sets of these.**These seem very solid for ground staked light poles,** but Be aware that most of the reviews have come from another source and are NOT for this item, I made the mistake of opening after the return period ended thinking I was getting exactly what other customers have shown photographs of, but there is nothing included to attach it to a deck and you only have ground stakes. So now I’m stuck with at least four extra poles with no purpose because they come with a big ground stake on the end. I don’t know who uploads all of these other source reviews but they do NOT belong to this product,— horrible that there are so many reviews for the wrong product so where is quality control from Amazon? It’s my mistake for trusting and ordering before I could use them without checking it all out as soon as delivered because most of it is completely useless to me. :(
