How Now, Ms. Brown Cow?: A Beyond the Blue Barn Book: 2 Paperback – Import, 12 December 2017

I have to be honest, sometimes when I read books with my kids it feels like a chore. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE reading to my kids, but sometimes the material bores me to tears. How many times can she freeze a village I ask myself each time I recite the paragraphs. In Peter Fowkes' new book How Now Ms. Brown Cow, I found myself laughing out loud at some of the pictures. Thoughtfully written, Mr. Fowkes' book brings me back to my love of Dr. Seuss as a child but with added wittiness. The animal escapades will no doubt get the kids laughing, and the expressions on some of the characters will no doubt resonate in adults everywhere. The messages are perfect for kids, "Never give up.", "You can do anything if you just put your mind to it.", and "No one likes to live their life in a pond filled with goo.", but what sets his writing apart is his ability to capture children and adults alike. I purchased his other books because not only were my kids laughing, but so was I.
