Replaced old one, very soft.

Everyone that sleeps in my bed, which is one of those cheap $300 piece of crap beds, says my bed's the most comfortable bed on the planet. I saw before buying that someone commented that it formed a deep crease down the middle, which made me hesitant, but then I realized upon seeing the same thing that it was caused by sheets that were too small for the bed. But even then, you can spread it out further to make it nice and normal and the most comfortable bed on the planet. All around great product, great buy, great price, etc.

I had to leave my topper back east when I downsized to sell a house. This topper I bought on Amazon was a pretty close second. It's filled with a mix of fiberfill and shredded urethane foam. I don't believe that is in the description. I scanned more than a few sites to find this item. I doubt if it is made anymore, but my last one endured a long time in a moist climate. I still have one on my twin guest bed. It sits atop a firm mattress. Very comfortable that bed! Tonight is first night I sleep on this new one. I also have a firm mattress and need a bit of cushioning for my older body. This is NOT like a memory foam topper but instead like a puffy cushy more substantial feather bed made with a 100% cotton exterior. Plain fiberfill will just squish down. This can be fluffed up with a good shake. So..there you have it.UPDATED REVIEW INFO> If the thread/seams/stitched layers had not broken after a week I would have kept it. But they separated which means it's only a matter of time before any filling will be randomly distributed. The one I previously bought years ago was SO sturdy. All of it made in USA. This one is not.

Awful! Lumpy even after letting it lay out for 48 hours without being used! I've been sleeping on this thing for 2 months trying to convince myself that it was comfortable but denial time is over and this thing is going in the trash! It's not even Salvation Army worthy! If it's company reads this and wants me to try a new one at no cost in case this one was defective I'm willing to try it out and remove this feedback. If I don't hear from them I'll know this is a poorly made, cheap quality product and I don't recommend it! Please save your money! I'm not one to leave bad feedback but in this case due to my sore back its a must! Thank you I hope this helps someone!

I was looking for a mattress pad to put on my existing memory foam mattress. I'm not happy with how my mattress has "conformed" to my body and needed something with a bit more comfort than the valley that forms after you lay on it for awhile. I saw this mattress topper and thought...this is it! It looked fantastic as it's part memory foam and part loft fiber. It looked especially cushy and that was what I was looking for. I hesitated for a little while because it didn't have any reviews and was a little expensive, but finally decided to buy it.Did it live up to what it looks like in the photo? Not exactly, it looks more like a baffled featherbed, not like a pillowtop as it appears in the photo, but it's thick and fit well on my mattress. It has elastic bands that tuck under the edges of the mattress, so I did that, then just put the mattress pad over the top. The first night I slept on it...how can I describe it..soft as a cloud? It was very comfortable. It helped fill in the 'valley' that my memory foam mattress makes after you lay on it for awhile. I imagine if you have a somewhat hard mattress and are thinking of replacing it for that reason, that this topper would be your solution. It makes a hard mattress seem like it has a nice pillow top on it. I am happy that I purchased it. I would have given it a 5 instead of a 4 except that it wasn't as puffy in real life as it was in the photo. I expected it to be more like that. It is comfortable though and I don't regret getting it.

LOVE LOVE LOVE my bed topper. I was talking to my husband about buying a whole new mattress and then decided why not save like $600 and just buy a bed topper and new bedding to accent it. This topper is amazing and makes you sink in and so soft too. The only down side are the grooves which literally makes you sink in and my husband does not like that feature. Super fast delivery and great quality and what a deal!!

My husband loves it and I don't. It comes packaged the same way a comforter comes packaged. There were no notified smells or anything once unwrapped and it fluffed out pretty nicely within about an hour. I ordered the queen size and it is about an inch smaller than my mattress. I got the topper because my new bed is too firm and I wanted something softer. My husband and I are both heavier people and I found the topper to become flat in some places, lumpy in other places and something inside it bunches up and feels like your laying on a marble or something. I've tried fluffing and shaking it but that doesn't help. We have had the topper for over a week now. My husband says that since we have gotten the topper his back is hurting less and he is sleeping a lot better. He finds it very comfortable and says it adds plenty of softness to his side of the bed. So I'm still tossing and turning and he is sleeping like a baby.

I have severe fibromyalgia ....(25) years.. and maybe new RA. I have a matress of all memory foam but I was still in so much night pain. This matress topper was a dream come true. Unlike my last topper it fluffs up on its own every day due to the memory foam pieces. I'll be honest...during this current flare I am also using my old topper underneath but I am on 24/7 time release pain treatment so like I said severe!!! Anyone with average pain would find this topper completely sufficient to keep tender spots from becoming red hot sore spots upon waking. If the "PRINCESS AND THE PEA'" were to sleep with this topper not even she would feel the pea. Try it and enjoy! The price at another major chain was $135 so the price at amazon was the best especially with prime membership for free two day shipping.
