HIBAG Vacuum Storage Seal Bags, 10 Jumbo Space Saver Vacuum Sealer Bags for Clothes, Comforters, Blankets, Bedding (10J)

I purchased these bags for an overseas trip to organize and minimize the space used in carry ons. I opted for these bags that came with the hand pump just in case airport security needed to search what was in the vacuum sealed bag. I know that an electric pump would also work in the event that I would need to reseal the bags, but with 3 kids and experiences of often feeling rushed to go through security. I didn’t want to take the chance that an electric pump would fail to work and I would be unable to close one of our carry on bags. I also found that while we were on our trip, having organized storage bags was very helpful as we went from one place to another. We used these bags over the course of 5 weeks in different locations and they hells up very well. I will use these bags for each future trip our family takes. The ability of the bag to greatly reduce the typical amount of space clothing items can take in a carry on was great and the clothes smelled fresh and clean - no chemic scent since these bags are plastic. There is a double seal on each bag that is helpful in the event that one of the seals isn’t fully closed. I was also able to store quite a lot in each bag. If you’re seeking storage bags to organize what you put in a carry on suitcase, I would suggest the medium size. The quality was also very good as I frequently opened and closed and vacuumed each bag and they remained well in tact. My husband and sons did have a few items that we did not want to wrinkle, including suit pants and dress shirts, but because of the space these bags freed up, we were able to very easily and neatly place those items in the carry on. These bags also allowed us to keep shoes completely away from clothing items and were helpful in for separately placing laundry items we were unable to have cleaned before returning home. Now that we’ve returned from our trip, I plan on using them to store seasonal items. I will likely purchase more of these to just keep inside of our stored carry on luggage.

I was expectable at first. The only reason being is that I have tried vacuume seal bags in the past (hefty) and I had a poor experience . If hefty , a good name brand known for its good quality products didnt work then …. You know ! Anyway, I used every single vacuume seal bag - the day I got them. Ive been checking everyday for signs of deflating - like Im waiting for it to happen - Im 4 days in now and they are perfectly stacked amd flat !!! Great compression ! And I love that the cover is screw on . I believe the others were a pop on amd off cap. The plastic material itself feels thinner than hefty which worried me when I first touched it. I thought I’d rip it while Inserting my things in but it didn’t . It’s pretty sturdy . Great product ! I’ll be ordering more Im diffeeent sizes .

These jumbo HIBAG vacuum bags do exactly what I expected them to. I use them with a shop vac instead of the included pump, and that works quickly and efficiently. Compression is never quite as dramatic as the pictures show—but that’s true of every brand I’ve tried. They still reduce bulk enough to make seasonal storage much easier in a house with limited space. Ease of packing is about what you’d expect: it’s like using an oversized Ziploc bag, just match the right items to the right size. Since these are jumbo, packing larger bedding and comforters takes some effort, but it’s manageable. The material feels thin, almost like it shouldn’t hold up, yet the bags seal and compress well overall. Out of the 10 in the pack, only one refuses to hold a seal, though I can still use it for general bagging and organization. The other nine are holding up fine with no signs of leakage. Bottom line: for the price, these are a functional, space-saving solution. They aren’t perfect, but they help organize bulky bedding and clothing with minimal hassle.

Repacking a room and bought these for space saving. They are amazing! Durable! Reusable! Great quality. And value is perfect. Highly recommend it came with a pump but i used a vacuum. Size was perfect for what I needed. No leaks.

Excellent variety of bag sizes! Numerous options to choose from when trying to store things away! Comes with everything you need! Very versatile, as you can also use it with a vacuum. So far no issues with storage or utilizing the bags to save space!

The vast assortment of photos of squished bags didn’t really help me plan how many bags to buy in what sizes, so I’m sharing info I would have found helpful: As some reviewers mentioned bag failure, I bought 2 boxes of the extra large, just in case. I ended up only using 9 bags out of one box and didn’t have any problems with any of them, no pin holes, all sealed well, etc. Those 9 bags reduced 1 closet shelf, 13’ L x 15” H x 12” D, plus 1 linen closet shelf, 30” L x 13” H x 16” D, plus one underbed plastic box, 36” L x 6” H x 18” D, plus 4 sofa pillows, 26” square, all back onto that original 13 ft shelf. If it helps you plan your project, that one 13’ shelf now holds: 2 queen size quilted bedspreads, 2 quilted shams, 1 round side-table tablecloth, 2 valances, 3 throw rugs, 3 16x16” throw pillows, 4 26x26” sofa pillows, 13 towels, 4 hand towels, 5 wash cloths, 3 baby blankets, 3 little pillows 7” sq, and one 52” square quilt. Based on the reviews, I ditched the plastic swipes for the zip strip at the onset & just used my hands, easy. I vac’d 6 down to hard-as-rocks, but I left 3 a bit more pliable so I could squish them in at the top of each stack of rocks and they’d fill the void to the ceiling, whatever that was per stack (plus ea stack is now sorta locked-in tight, so no crashes in the middle of the night). Ended up with 3 stacks going across: 2 rocks on bottom & 1 squish on top, per stack. I wanted the finished depth of the bags to fit on the 12” deep shelf with little-to-no overhang, so what worked best for me was folding narrow, then vac out most of the air, stop & adjust contents of the bag all to one side (I picked it up by the side seam & gave it a shake), then get the rest of the air out. Yes, there was extra side plastic to tuck under as I stacked, but I wanted that length to fit my space. I had everything I wanted to vac pack sorted into piles, by type, in advance, so when the bags came, the vac ‘n stack part took about 45 min. After I got the first 2 bags down to rocks, I put them on the shelf to sorta plan out the rest (length adjustments, etc). And, some bags (rugs) were super heavy so I put them on the bottom so I’d have to lift them the shortest distance. Yes, you can merely open them, add more, and reseal at any time. I found these bags to be very easy to work with, well made, and substantial. Hope this helps.

I love the concept but the product itself is hit or miss. The biggest problem is that it’s very hard to close the bag completely. I went over the zipper multiple times to make sure they are completely closed before I vacuum sealed them. A day or two later, i noticed some bags have air in it and not as flat anymore.

These worked great for my needs! The little clips come off easily, but they also can be put back on very easily. I have reused these several times and they hold a lot of materials and compress well. I have no complaints!

There are a good selection of sizes. I've never used vacuum storage bags before but these are excellent. They feel really sturdy, come with clear instructions and examples of how much can fit in each size, max fill lines, easy to close and effective at vacuum sealing and shrinking down the winter clothes to make more space. They fit nicely into the bottom of a wardrobe and would equally fit well into a large suitcase. Really impressed with the quality. I bought 2 boxes and they are going a long way so far. Can't comment on how long they stay shrunk for but its recommended to vaccum the air out again in a couple of months anyway. Great product.
