Amazing Value!
Let me start by saying that this coffee is absolutely delicious! This really is the perfect coffee. I use 2 TBSP of grounds to brew a 6-8 oz cup or 4 oz shot for my lattes.I really wanted to know just how much of a value I was getting by switching to the bag of grounds from K-Cups. For anyone else wondering, I decided to go full nerd, whipped out my grams scale and did some coffee math. Here's everything you need to know about the Verona Coffee:One 28 oz bag = 793.87 grams1 TBSP of grounds = 4.379 gramsIf you use the Golden Ratio that was developed by the SCAA to brew the perfect cup of coffee (which is approximately 2 TBSPS of grounds for each 6-8 oz cup of coffee), then you can brew precisely 90 cups of coffee. You will have just under 3/4 of a TBSP left when you get to the end of the bag.Sort Answer = This 28 oz bag of Verona coffee makes 90 cups of coffee when you use 2 TBSP of grounds for each cup. The bag is about 1/3 the price of the K-Cups.So essentially, you can get 3 times the amount of coffee with a bag of grounds for the same price as the K-Cups. If you're looking to save money, this switch is definitely worth it!

Pre-Ground, but Cheaper Than Folgers*...and a Super Value for One of Starbuck's Finest Blends
Except for Cuban and Lavazza's Qualita Rossa and Crema E Gusto, I almost always buy beans over pre-ground...and agree with all the reasons why grinding fresh is superior to buying pre-ground. However, when I stumbled on this listing of $11 for 28 ounces (only 40¢/oz) of my favorite SB blend, I had to give this pre-ground a shot. Say what you want, but I'm unapologetically a Starbucks fan, especially of their single origin Sumatran and Verona blend. But I don't buy SB often as Lavazza's lineup is consistently good and more economical.SB's Grind Size: Medium-course is their "universal grind" that they use in stores for their standard drip coffee and store-bought pre-ground coffee. Too course for most of my uses, but I vacuum packed 1/3 in a mason jar for my French press when I have guests, and re-ground the rest to medium-fine (7 steps from finest on my Capresso), about the look and feel of sand. I put a week's supply in an air displacement cannister for daily use and the rest vacuum packed. What a big difference the re-grinding made for my moka pot, Aeropress, and (cough) Keurig. The re-grinding seems to release more oils, giving a good balance of the acid, sweet, and bitter components in the extraction. I'm just a hobbyist without the gourmet palate of some coffee snobs, but after re-grinding, this "cheaper-than-Folgers" coffee makes me excellent shots of near-espresso and thoroughly satisfying cups of flavorful coffee...what more can a coffee hobbyist ask for? I received my bag about 5 months before the BB date, a non-issue with my vacuum storage...but this bag will be history long before that date.I plan to order three more bags before prices go up. My mason jar vacuum sealer will be working overtime as I'll immediately repack all three bags to slow down the oxidation. ツ*60-80% cheaper than the $1+/ounce Folgers Black Silk that I tried in the past...cheaper but much better.

Perfect cup of coffee when using 1 TBSP of coffee per cup
Enjoy the strong, layered taste of this particular coffee, my favorite of all the Starbucks coffees, yielding a cup full of smooth intense taste without bitterness. Perfect coffee everytime when I use one tablespoon (instead of the 2 recommended on the package) per cup.

New to Expresso so had to go with Starbucks
I'm new to Expresso so I had to go with Starbucks and I don't regret it. For Christmas I got a new Expresso machine and fell in love. I was buying fine grounds from Trader Joe's and really liked them but I really wanted to try the fresh ground and these Starbucks beans are smooth, rich and satisfying.

To expensive
Won't order again was way to expensive for the size of the bag. I was able to get the same size bag half the price elsewhere.
