Great lock
Just moved into my new house and installed two of these. Super easy installation and the app worked like a charm. Connected this with my ring alarm, on the way out just need to hit the logo to lock and arm the ring. When you return and use the code to unlock it also will deactivate the alarm.Great product.

Amazing!
This lock is incredible, I've had on for about 6 months so far and it still hasn't died.

It works well, but the "improvements" are a step back in usability
The lock works well once it's installed and configured. The older locks one touch locking worked by touching any button. This one only locks if you touch the Yale button. Forcing you to use a specific button that has no other purpose but locking is a step back in usability! Once touch lock should work with any button like before. The older locks were configured straight from the keypad and were easy to setup. They added Bluetooth to this, and they force you to use the Yale app for configuration. Frequent timeouts, and inaccurate or incomplete instructions in the app make installation and initial setup a far worse experience than the old keypad setup method. And I can't get DoorSense to work at all. Probably because I followed the instructions in the app for flush mounting the magnet 1.5" to 3.5" above the strike plate. The printed instructions show a MAXIMUM of 1.5", and it's to the top of the magnet, not the center. So mine is mounted maybe 1/2" too high thanks to poor instructions. And since it's mounted in a hole drilled in the door it cannot be moved! The app practically forces you to use the instructions in the app, so I didn't look at the printed instructions until it was already installed and not working!Thankfully I have a separate door sensor, and I use that to prevent locking while open.

Z-Wave Integration Is Poor
I'm not sure if it's the hardware or the app, but, the ZWave Integration is hot garbage. It paired to my Ring, then Ring couldn't control it and no codes worked. I tried removing it, but ZWave Exclusion never works on it. I had to factory reset the lock. I got it to pair to my home automation platform, and it could control it, but it won't take any user codes (display just circles the LEDs). I'm about to factory reset it AGAIN because I can't properly remove it and try again. The older 2xx series locks worked great. This one that has to go through the app on your phone is terrible.

Great lock for Ring alarm smart home
This is a great lock. The push buttons are a welcome change from touchscreens (they work with gloves!). The mechanism is fast enough. The integration with ring alarm is pretty good. Through Alexa you can create a routine to lock your doors when you arm Ring. Not advertised, is HomeKit compatibility through bluetooth. The Z-wave version is Ring-specific but also works when out of home through HomeKit (bluetooth) when out of the house. Integration with Ring is nice, allowing the option to disarm the alarm from the Yale touch pad when the door is unlocked, and arm from Yale automatically (a few options for that).

Easy to install; z-wave works with Ring ; easy to install
Used it on my front door to replace a very old non-smart lock. Had no issues (after making sure all measurements fall within the guidelines mentioned in the user manual).Connection to Ring was easy as well.

ZW3 is too new for Ring.
This lockset DOES NOT interoperate with Ring. Ring support said this was the first ZW3 lock they had tried to connect. Escalated to Ring engineering who said this lock is too new. And the basic features will not work on this. Told me to buy the ZW2 version. The ZW2 version works like a charm so far.

Works with Ring, Secure but drains battery fast and a really annoying issue
Installed this for our front door. Works great in terms of remotely locking and unlocking the door, as well as auto-unlock when you're in a certain radius. However, if you have multiple locks, only one can be auto-unlocked. This lock works well with Ring - although you have to set it up with the Yale App first and then integrate with Ring. Since we're a Ring household, it works well with the subscription we already have. Otherwise, if you don't already have a Ring Paid sub, then do not buy this. Now the bad part - it drains batteries really fast. Not as bad as some other folks here reported, but like at least once a month. So, you'll burn through about 50 AA batteries in a year. Consider about $20 in batteries you'll have to buy every year at Costco or Amazon. Also, when the batteries are low, it starts making this annoying, very loud beeping sound that can not be turned off by acknowledging, locking, or unlocking. It runs through its beeping cycles and then ends automatically. I do not need to wake up everyone in the household to acknowledge that I need to change batteries.I still like this lock and will continue using it despite these issues but giving it only 3-star since for this price, you'd expect better.
