No problems
I purchased to help with replacing F350 body mounts. Those bolts are long, covered in thread lock, and notorious for spinning the captured nut. I used this on 4 of the 8 bolts, and I would say that it definitely made them easier to unscrew. I also used it to heat up O2 sensor bungs on a Jeep that another person couldn't get to budge. Heated them up, shock quenched with water, and they broke loose. Definitely worth the money for those two jobs alone. It is long, but I bent the copper coils in order to get over the bolt heads and O2 sensors. The cooling fan comes on immediately, and is as loud as a hair dryer. I let it continue to run a few minutes after using to allow the internal components to cool down before unplugging.

Worth the cost
My husband was able to bend a part of the garage door opener system to fix it. Saved us a lot of money to fix it ourselves due to the model of the garage system. It worked great. It was easy to use. He was quite pleased.

Not strong enough to make bolts glow red, but still good enough
I bought this to help remove rear brake caliper brackets on a 20 year old car in the rust belt. Those bolts had never been loosened on that car and were rather rusted/fused. For context, those bolts are M10 x 30mm that require a 15mm wrench, so a "medium sized" bolt by vehicle standards. At first, I tried heating just the head of the bolt, thinking the heat would travel down the threads, like others who have commented on success with just heating heads of body frame mount bolts which are clearly much bigger. Should be no problem, right?Well...no success, even after 4 consistent minutes of heating the bolt (at which point the unit went into "overheat protection" mode). That's also how I discovered this unit might lacks the power to make the bolt glow red hot like you see in videos. After some bending of the supplied coils, I then was able to heat the part of the hub where the bolt was threaded into for a couple of minutes, and THAT is what loosened the bolt enough. Now....in my case, the bolt was not "magically" easy to remove either. It still took nearly 100 lb/ft of force to bust the hex head bolt loose. Now....the hub body and bolt were absolutely hot as you can imagine, but definitely not glowing at all.Overall, I think this item was well worth the money. It has about the same heating power as a propane torch. If you're needing more heat (like MAPP gas torch level of power that will make even you engine block glow) then this is not the unit for you, and you'll likely need to go for the version you see on Amazon that costs twice as much and has a big bump up in wattage power. For most situations requiring focused heat, I think this tool will be sufficient, especially if you are able to heat the nut or threaded part the bolt, rather than the bolt head

Tool is a life saver!
Ever wish to use a torch INSIDE a vehicle to get a bolt loose? This gets things cherry red hot without the open flame. Sometimes it's just easier do bust this tool out than it is to drag the torch out. The induction heads do wear out but replacements are affordable. It all depends on how you use and that the tool. One of those tools you wish you had if you don't.

NOT ELECTRICAL SAFETY LISTED AND LABELED – NO WAY I AM I USING THIS IN MY HOME OR WORK
NOT ELECTRICAL SAFETY LISTED AND LABELED – NO WAY I AM I USING THIS IN MY HOME OR WORK I am so disappointed receiving this dangerous NOT SAFE UN-Certified Solary Magnetic Induction Heater. – NOT Family Safe – NO electrical safety testing certification – Safety First - The most important thing is that this dangerous NOT SAFE UN-Certified Solary Magnetic Induction Heater IS NOT SAFE to use in your home. - If this UN-Certified NOT SAFE Solary Magnetic Induction Heater was safe and high quality, then certainly the manufacturer would have submitted this product to one of the independent electrical safety testing laboratories for electrical safety testing, certification, and labeling. I wonder why the manufacturer did not have this product safety tested. I am NOT going to use this product. You should not use this product. Why would you use it when you can buy proven safe electrical safety tested certified products from all over Amazon? - I am NOT using this dangerous UN-Certified NOT SAFE Solary Magnetic Induction Heater. I often buy light fixtures, or electrical products, or Lithium Ion Batteries on Amazon where the website description does not bother to mention the electrical safety testing certification. I just assume that I will receive a product that is safe for my family. I am always surprised and dismayed when the light fixture, or electrical product, or Rechargeable Battery DOES NOT have an electrical safety test certification label. - There are no electrical safety testing certification labels on this UN-Certified NOT SAFE Solary Magnetic Induction Heater. I only recharge Rechargeable Lithium batteries that have an electrical safety test certification label. I only recharge Rechargeable Lithium batteries, that are inside a device, or with a charger that has an electrical safety test certification label. This NOT SAFE Solary Magnetic Induction Heater DOES NOT have an electrical safety test certification label. - For my moral values, to keep my family safe, to keep other families safe, for my liability insurance requirements, and to keep my home owner’s insurance valid, I only use or install ETL, or UL, or CSA, or TUV, or Triangle VDE, or Diamond PSE, or BACL, or GS electrical safety certified and labeled electrical products in my own home and in other people’s homes or businesses. this electrical safety certifications are provided by third party electrical product safety testing laboratories that are independent from the manufacturer. - The FCC label IS NOT a certification of independent laboratory electrical safety testing. The FCC label is an UN-certified SELF-declaration scheme for marketing by the manufacturer declaring that the product does not produce interference radio waves. If a product has passed the strict electrical safety testing by independent electrical safety testing laboratories then it must show that safety certification label on the product itself. There is NO such electrical safety testing and safety certification label anywhere on this UN-Certified NOT SAFE Solary Magnetic Induction Heater. - Before installing an electrical device, the first thing an electrician does is to check for the electrical safety testing Laboratory Label Logo and Certification Listing number. - Ask your city’s electrical inspector if they will approve use of NON-safety certified and labeled electrical devices in your home. Then ask your professional licensed electrician if they will install UN-certified electrical devices. Then ask your home owner’s insurance agent if your home owner’s insurance will be valid if you install such NON-safety labeled electrical products. Of course, your home owner’s insurance agent will not inspect your home’s electric appliances until AFTER the fire, or electrocution, so that the insurance claim can be denied. - My Liability Insurance Agent, and my lawyer, both call these types of just-waiting-for-a-lawsuit type products: “Litigiously Incorrect”. In vernacular these types of products are a great product for earning money for the suing liability lawyer, a terrible product for the hurt victim and negligent user.
