5 Star Collins Conference Folder 4-Ring with Handles Capacity 60mm W275xH377mm Ref BT001 Black

For the price of 23 quid, it's pretty good value. The folder is pretty strong, the handles can fold down inside. It doesn't have any cheap looking parts to it at all at least and the build quality is pretty decent.It's thick and large enough to easily accommodate a 7" to 10" tablet like the iPad, along with a notebook/book and with the rest of the compartments although when you do fill it up to the brim, the handles are stiff and it takes strength to keep the handles together in your hand, so they don't have much slack to them. maybe with use they loosen up. That's a downside because it's not too comfortable for me to carry when it's full, although doable, can't expect everything for the price. My 12" netbook fits in it but fills up the folder quite a lot and leaves little space for anything else.The ringbinder in it is a little annoying as well because I will hardly use it. Otherwise, good and worth the money.

I bought this to replace my A5 version which I've had for nearly 5 years, and when I received this product I was initially delighted with the excellent quality of the material and very happy with the purchase in general due to the bargain I seemed to have procured. However on closer inspection I was slightly disappointed to find that the zip was extremely difficult to do up, due to the large excess or material puckering by the binding, however I accept that not every product arrives perfectly and was ignoring this fact as I expected that this would soon ease up with use.However I still have difficulties in zipping this folder up and now I have found that where I was putting my pens in the zipper section, instead they were falling out of the back due to the lining fabric not being correctly sewn into the leather style casing.Overall I am happy with the folder, it met a need I had and was very cheap.However I would advise anyone reading this to find a shop and buy one in person so you can inspect the quality before handing over the cash.

This is a very good quality product. It is quite large and bulky - not much smaller than some briefcases, but if you want to hold a lot of documentation it is ideal. The bulkiness is largely from the rings of the ring binder which are larger than normal.If you want to hold a lot of documentation in plastic folders then this product is excellent. If you have little need for doing this, then you might be better off with a conference folder that has no ring binder or one that has smaller rings.I thought the retractable handles would be a gimmick but when you have it full of paperwork it is quite heavy and the handles do make it easier to carry about. There is only one pen holder and I would have liked a couple more.However, other than that minor niggle it is just what I wanted and I am very pleased with it.

We provide our clients with folders and the one we have used for years is no longer available (a Wenger folio) so we have been looking for a replacement. This folder is good for our purposes as it has a large capacity, plenty of pockets and a pen holder. The retractable handles are a nice touch. If it were leather and had an integral calculator it would be perfect but for the price it's a pretty good product. Only one criticism - it comes with the zip unzipped and it's a bit fiddly to get the zip closed the first time you use it. I did initially think I was going to have to send it back as the zip was no good but did manage to get it closed eventually!

DO NOT BUY!!! I purchased Collins because of the quality of the name, but STEER CLEAR AND DO NOT BUY. My first one, after 2 weeks, the material round the zip was substandard and pulls away from the folder. This got worse-and-worse, and after contacting Amazon, they were very good and sent a replacement of the same. Thinking this might be a sub standard one off, I was happy to have a replacement, but again, in just over 4 weeks the same thing has happened again, all coming away at the zip, so COLLINS NOT A GREAT DESIGN AND A BIG FLAW WHICH YOU MUST HAVE KNOWN ABOUT.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AND HOPE WHEN I CONTACT AMAZON TOMORROW THEY WILL REFUND FOR ME.

Nice folder but mine was sent with a dodgy zip that looked like it wasn't quite sewn in properly and at some point during manufacturing was strained in order to get it to close as the zipper teeth are a little warped so it's very fiddly to zip closed, so much so that most of the time I don't bother to zip it shut which kind of defeats the object. Not quite the quality I would expect from Collins to be honest.

The fabric of the zip comes away from the faux leather with frightening simplicity if you put anything between the rings and the binder. If that design/manufacturing flaw was corrected this would get 5 stars from me every time.

i'm not sure about the real leather part of the description for this product but it is soft supple and very well designed there is more room inside the folder than previous folders i have had with ample pockets for a variety of things and an impressive depth for storage once zipped the slide up handles are a nice touch and add to the security and ease of carrying the folder the internal ring binder is a very useful addition, the pad supplied is of poor quality but i feel the folder is well worth the price 10/10 for me and the dispatch and delivery by K direct was excellent as with all my dealings with them thanks guys
