Edges are sharp and you cannot get a paper towel out without it tearing into pieces. Don't waste your money.

Lot of the plastic ones crack, manhandling them, open n close all the time, hinges breakmetal is the way to go...love the look, so stylish....great open close, and simple load...great product, 4.5 stars

I missed the review stating this thing tears the paper towels as they are pulled out. ITS TERRIBLE! The edges of the paper towels are constantly being torn off and fall to the floor. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT. If I could give it less than 1 star, I would.

I installed these today and they are terrible. Every paper towel that comes out, is in pieces and end up all over the floor. I put our plastic one back up. It doesn’t look as good, but it works way better. Unfortunately I am past being able to return these things because I didn’t get a chance to put them up within the first 30 days. We have been moving into our new office and it has been a low priority.

It would be nice, if you would make sure the edges where the papertowel comes out that the edges of metal are rolled over better, so it does not rip the paper when pulling a towel out. Thank goodness I have a crafty husband that figured it out and rolled the edges over . Other wise great buy.

This was supposed to fit the size of paper towels I use, but it is annoying, they catch a rip wasting them.
