EDC pouch
I got this as a personal IFAK pouch. Itβs just big enough for bandages, over the counter medicines, gauze, a tourniquet and some bleed-stop. Plus a small flashlight, pair of nitrate gloves and a little bit 6-7β of rolled up duct tape on a lighter.Good construction and easy to attach to a pack, belt, tac-gear with mollie.

Ultra Impressive
It looks like they took the usual brand names of pouches like this, and sought to out-do them. They may have succeeded. Really Diggin' some of the efforts put into this design.Quality material, quality mesh front pocket. Not crazy about the loop of velcro used to secure that pocket-it's like a pull tab of hook field strap, that either folds down to meet a patch of loop, or it will also fold up and stick to the patch panel. If you want. Makes it a little more versatile, but creates a lump of fabric when it's down. I'm sure this can easily be altered by removing part of that loop.Zippers and pulls seem decent. When you open it up, you're greeted with super generous, lengthy lanyards on each side. Which means you can possibly USE the tool that's attached to one, without having to remove it. They have these dinky-looking clips at the ends, but they are super tough. Must be some kind of high grade ABS type plastic, because they are much stronger than they look.Larger inside front pocket fits a Rite In The Rain padd, and other similarly shaped/sized items. On top of that, there are four slim elastic webs that fit standard pen, sharpie, slim pocket flashlight. Would like to see those stacked on top of wider webbing, in case you wanted to put something bigger than a pen on that side.On the other side, there are two taller/slimmish pockets (offset in size. Bigger one is about 1.5x the width) that hold a good sized folding knife, or an appropriately sized flashlight. Or pens, if you need more than the four spaces on the front, or if you'd rather keep your pens on this side. There's this mesh-covered, feels padded, pocket flap that is secured with hook and loop, and folds open to reveal a clear pocket, I assume is for ID or badge, but can be used for other things. Compass comes to mind.Love the recessed grab handle. They put it further down than most brands tend to have theirs. Doesn't stick out from the top. That kinda gets annoying sometimes, and I imagine it's not too much harder to slip your fingers down to grap that handle, than if it were protruding like most others in this style do. Also gives you a place to hook it or hang it somewhere. My one gripe, is that there are no horizontal webs to thread the molle straps through, should you decide to attach it to something. Or, if you are wanting to run a belt through it, there will be a couple inches of play, up and down. Unless maybe you run a full-on Battle Belt through it, but those usually have MOLLE webbing on the outside. So, I don't think it will be ideal for that purpose, but an awesome EDC organizer, for sure.Comes with a cool US flag patch in OD Green and black. This pouch is definitely a win, and right up there with The Big Dawgs in quality and design. Hope to see more from CAT in the future. I have three of their pouches so far, and am bery pleased π

BIT large for a pocket EDC
Unless you pack this thing with a few papers, a pen, and a knife - your jeans pocket will bulge...If that's your look then go ahead and buy this! If you're looking to actually store this in your pocket, I would opt for a much smaller bag. Now, if you plan to carry this in a backpack, computer bag, or truck door then this bag is MOST definitely for you! This pouch is perfect for carrying several tools and can be secured to other packs. One thing to note is it has vertical mole straps but not horizontal. The zippers are ok - I overloaded the pouch and it zipped without busting but I later pulled several items out to make it a much more reasonable load. There are two lanyards out of each 'inner back pockets' that pull out and are long enough to do small tasks. Also, the ABS clasps look cheap but did seem to hold up to normal/avg use.Overall a 5* product - it isn't perfect but at $16 and nearly 1/2 the cost of the competitors it does the job as long as your expectations are in line. If you're a professional - go spend the extra money to get a HD pouch. If you're the average person that wants a nice 'sometimes carry' pouch: this one's for you!1* = Trash2* = Disappointed overall but wouldn't make the effort to return it unless it was really overpriced3* = Overall fine product but wouldn't recommend it to my friends4* = Would recommend to a friend but it could have some improvement or better price5* = Perfect or near perfect for the price point
