Excellent and fun book to read as a family at Christmas. Always brings a laugh when it's read out-loud in a deep "Klingon" voice!

We all have our holiday traditions, some of them quite ancient and passed from generation to generation. Reading this book has become one of my favorite new traditions. Written in delightful verse, this tale of the Klingon holiday season is sure to please any Trek fan.While I expected to be mildly amused by the book, I was actually blown away by the care with which it was produced. The poem, with obvious shades of Clement Clarke Moore, manages to feel equally at home in the disparate worlds of Christmas cheer and the Klingon Empire. Equally impressive are Patrick Faricy's illustrations.Highly recommended. Read it aloud while your loved ones are gathered the yule log sharpening their bat'leths.

Keep in mind, this is a parody of The Night Before Christmas along with a few more seasonal traditions. It is spot on for any Klingon or Star Trek fan. The Illustrations are gorgeous too. Fast shipping and in excellent condition. Very pleased.

This sounded like a great book that I couldn't pass up because I'm into Klingons & their culture. This is a book that I'd read to my grand children to expose them to the proud Klingon culture. I have it under my Khristmas tree & will read it every year as a new tradition. It's a fun book & would be enjoyed by all who are into Star Trek. Qapla!

This will be the story we read to our sons every year on "Khristmas!"When I ordered this I thought it was more of an actual 'book,' but to our delight it's more like a picture book for kids, complete with rhyming verse, and wonderful illustrations, celebrating the birth of the warrior Kahless. The embossing on the cover looks very nice, very well done. We absolutely LOVE this book.

Finally got the book today and am very pleased with it. I look at the imagination brought to life how Klingons celebrate their version of Christmas. Makes you smile and laugh at every page you turn reading these wonderful words. Instead of comparing it to what we believe in, we should just know that imagination is still alive and well, even for Klingons and other worlds out there.

I bought this book as a Gift, but had to read it first! It is an excellent story for children and adults alike! If you are a Star Trek fan it is a MUST HAVE to add to your collection! A number illustrations of medium to reasonable quality with various short "festive" rhymes with a decidedly Klingon slant.Apparently its not coal that bad Klingon children get; instead a tribble is in their stocking.One obvious fault spotted; the Author confuses Mistletoe with HollyUsed in the rhyme "See the Couple Canoodle", where he says leaves twinkle green and the berries shine redly.
