Thick and sturdy
These bags can hold liquid, never had garbage juice leak yet. Sometimes I don't dump the bag for 7 days. Not that I have liquid in there for 7 days but at least several days and it's never broke down or gotten weak. I usually fill it as much as I can and it gets pretty heavy. My only gripe would be tearing off a new bag. Hard find see where the perforations are sometimes. Or maybe it's just me... I don't know. Regardless I do like these bags.

Just pay for the real thing.
IF you pay $150 for a slim stainless steel 'Modern Human' trashcan that has an interior bucket oddly shaped enough to need overpriced trashbags...just submit to the fact you need to buy those overpriced bags because these are not it. I've made my way through 3 of the 4 rolls this box comes with but wow; how many ways can a product inconvenience you?1) there are 4 rolls and they do not feed out of the box..2) even if you put them in the reusable Amazon style bag feeder, these don't clean tear; you have to unfold then tear -3) once you get it out, untear it and go to put it on your can.. it still does not entirely even fit the Q model..it STILL requires stretching (like an $8 dollar Hefty hastily purchased box at Target of trash bags)4) once you fill it up with trash it is soooo thin the odds are good the heft of the filled bag will stretch and possibly tear away from the handles5) the holes the handles are supposed to pull out of to tie...are non existent on 80% of the bags so you have to pull a hole then pull the handles through.*^!$# these bags, honestly.

Poor fit, tears easy
I ordered this bag to be environmentally conscious, and as a replacement for my simple human L trash bags. I just got around to using them because I had not run out of my other bags. The first bag I tried to use was too small and immediately tore as soon as I try to fit it over the rim. It is too late for me to return them. I do not recommend this product.

Works as expected
We have tried a range of biodegradable trash bags lately, and these are definitely in the upper half for durability. At 4 gallons, they are about twice as large as a standard grocery carrier bag, and we find them a little too large for our 1-gallon bathroom trash cans, but they do fit nicely in our office trash cans. I especially like the string closure at the top of the trash bags. At $20 for 50 bags (at time of review) I would probably look for another less expensive variety rather than purchasing more of these, but if you are looking for a bag with a little more sturdiness, these might be worth the cost. We have used these intermittently for 3 months and have had no loss of durability in this time.

Definitely not blue
I got these to be recycling bags for my recyclables that are biodegradable. Well, they aren't blue like they need to be for recyclables. They look like a blue-ish green in the picture so I thought I could get away with it. They are actually light green and pretty transparent. It won't work for recyclables or garbage then because the garbage men don't take clear bags. Had to return. Fix the photo guys.

Rips apart really easily
I bought these bags because of the reviews that said they are strong and resistant but that's not what I experienced at all. The edge of the bags through which the ties pass tears off really easily, to the point where if you pull a little (like when the bag is full and a bit stuck in the bin) it comes apart immediately. I will not buy these bags again.
