Moon and Stars Style Ostrich Egg Lamp

This really is a lovely thing. Illuminates nearby walls with moon and stars. This is of course entirely obvious when you give it a moment's thought, but still gives you a pleasant sense of "ah!" when you first see it. An experience I may now have inadvertently robbed you of. Sorry.Nice solid heavy base with a felt underside, but the egg - even though thick-shelled - is fairly delicate. You don't want to drop it. We bought this particular verified purchase as a replacement for the last, which we did drop. Then regretted dropping. But we did buy it again. Which probably says all you need to know about how I feel about it.Not a lamp you'd want to read by obviously, it's a warm, cosy ambient (amniotic?) light that people who write articles for lifestyle magazines would probably say adds lots of 'Hygge' to your home. Or whatever the modern equivalent is; as you can tell I don't read them, so I can be as dismissive as I like about them really. Anyway, this is a nice thing, if you like nice things and aren't really clumsy (yes, like us), you won't regret buying this. It's nice. Like I said, we bought it twice.
