Live Squirrel Trap Heavy Duty Humane Animal Cage Trap for Indoors and Outdoors

I can’t believe how great this works! Caught three squirrels in one day! Amazing! Trap held as I was driving each scared little guy to his new home far away from my home. Very good product!

This trap works very well, we were able to capture 9 squirrels in one week. They were making nests under my solar panels, so I had to remove them by trap. I was going to use a pellet gun on them, catch and release was better. Didn’t want to shoot them. Now it’s April 25, 2025, we have captured 4 more and released them back into the wild 10 miles away in the deep woods. Great product works well.

Maybe I'm picky but to me, this trap is too short to catch the listed critters without the door coming down and hitting their tails. It's my fault for not paying attention to the length. There is only a 9 inch clearance from the closed trap door to the beginning of the trip plate. It's great if you're trying to catch young critters. It is a well made trap and easy to use but I am going to return mine and get a trap that's a longer length.

Shockingly effective! This trap worked perfectly to capture a Douglas squirrel (3 times!) that had found it's way into our attic before I finally found how it was getting in. Very satisfied with this trap.

I don’t even want to give these 1 star because they do not work for catching squirrels as they show on the cover of the box as advertised, but I had to rate them with a star…so 1 star is all they will get. I bought 2 of these and unless you are trying to catch a 5lb or more animal and the animal pounced up and down on the trigger flap inside the cage …you won’t catch anything with these traps. I had to physically push down and put weight on both trigger trap flaps inside for the trigger trap flap to get the door to close. Both traps were the exact same…so it was not a faulty trap…just the way they are made. I knew the light body weight of a squirrel or chipmunk…(which are destroying my backyard and chewing on my house, deck and deck furniture) would never trigger the door to close and I was correct. I put a small plastic cup with nuts ,inside the trap, behind the trigger flap where they would stand on in order to get the door to close behind them, and not only did they walk inside the traps (I witnessed) and stood on the trigger flaps the entire time, while they leisurely ate the nuts inside the tiny plastic bowls, but they actually stole the bowl itself full of nuts ,out of the trap, and carried it up the tree all while the doors on the traps remained wide open wide open. All I could do is laugh at how terrible the traps were…yet not happy that it cost me over $70 for 2 non working traps. I have purchased traps in the past that worked great. Purchased these because I thought the black cages would be less noticeable than the shiny silver ones and I needed new ones. I will be sending these back and getting my money back. Do not waste your money or time purchasing these traps…you will be returning them as well…trust me.

Works excellent. Easy to set and release. I’ve use it to relocate 18 squirrels in a month.

I have tried every kind of scented repellent, screens, and have 3 dogs and nothing could stop the squirrels from tearing up my yard for the last year. I was about to lose my mind. Had this trap baited and outside within 5 mins of delivery. Within 20 mins saw a squirrel steal the bait and take off. Learned you have to set it and trip it a few times to loosen it up then caught and relocated all 4 squirrels to the wildlife refuge within 24 hours! This was a godsend! If the pellet gun had been cheaper than this trap things could’ve ended up much different but this was so easy and so effective. I’m really glad I went with this trap!
