Tongue Cleaner (Zungenreiniger). The anaerobic (do not like oxygen) Bacteria responsible for the mouth odour prefer to stay in the oxygen-poor areas of the tongue. If the tongue is also covered with a covering, it should be carefully removed before applying any other remedy for mouth odour. This can be done with a soft toothbrush or with a tongue cleaner. Only when the tongue coating are roughened or removed can it further interact with products against mouth odour to combat the bacteria and change bad breath into fresh breath. Instructions for preparing the treatment of mouth odour: Remove the covering from your tongue with a clean tongue cleaner before brushing your tongue. Rinse the tongue cleaner, apply a little tooth paste and apply a thin layer to the tongue as far as possible with the tongue cleaner. Let the tooth gel work in the tongue and brush your teeth with the TetroBreath® tooth paste. After spotting, spit out remaining paste and rinse with the TetroBreath® Mouthwash (instead of water). Product notes by Dr.Katz: The trick in cleaning the tongue: first remove the covering from the tongue and then apply the tooth paste to the back of the tongue. This allows the tooth paste to act better on the bacteria. If you do not remove the pad before, you will only partially reach these bacteria and change your breath to fresh breath.
