A year of corresponding turns to love for the third Lacroux sibling, metal artist Grayson and California actress Parker.***Seaside Whispers4 starsI purchased a copy of the steamy novel Seaside Summers book 8: Seaside Whispers: Matt and Mira by Melissa Foster and this review was given freely.A fitting conclusion to the Lacroux family Seaside romances containing a wonderful group of friends, some humor and a lot of steamy scenes. Dissatisfied Princeton professor Matt takes a sabbatical in Seaside to write a book,celebrate the triple wedding of his siblings, help try to save his father's hardware store, and to have a closer relationship with both his family and the woman he fantasizes about, his father's employee,single mother Mira.

Sky and Sawyer are great characters. Sky is a tattoo artist while Sawyer is a boxer who will do anything for those he loves. These two characters mesh perfectly. They have chemistry that is off the charts. This whole Seaside group is great and each book in the series should be read. You can relate to at least one of the characters in any of the books.BJ Harrison is back as narrator and he knocks it out of the park. His voice keeps you engaged and wanting more. He makes you feel like you are right there with the characters and you can feel all the emotion that is in the book. This is a great book to read and listen to.

Sky Lacroux moved back home to help run her father’s shop when he went into rehab. Now a couple years later, her dreams are finally coming true. She’s loved art and painting her entire life and her talent is finally paying off. She’s bought and renovated the tattoo shop in which she’s worked. She’s been living at Seaside while they were doing renovations on her shop and the apartment above it and she’s been getting ready for her grand re-opening. Spending time with her friends has always been one of her favorite things to do but she can’t help but wish that she had what they have. She never would have guessed that when she found “him” that she would fall so fast, love so quick or be conflicted so much.Sawyer Bass was a poet, a singer and a song writer but first and foremost he was a boxer. When he first saw Sky across the bar, he was moved by her and wrote a song about her before he even knew her name. When he went to get a tattoo the following day, he knew it was fate when Sky was the one that permanently inked him with his latest words. With his final fight just around the corner, he had to stay focused and not just because winning this fight could secure his Dad’s future. This fight is not only his last, it could be his end because if his doctors have warned him against fighting ever again.I’ve been a fan of Sky’s since she first came to Seaside and was happy to see that she had finally found love. Sawyer could not have been more perfect for Sky! This was another amazing book by Melissa Foster. I’ve long been a fan of her closely knit family and friends writing style and always know going in that the book will hard to put down and this one was no different. I loved catching up with the Seaside girls and their crazy antics and can’t wait to see what she comes up with next.

I've said it before, I don't know how Melissa Foster does it, she keeps gracing us with these fabulous stories, you'd think she would run out of story lines, but oh no, not at all and each book is as fresh and exciting as the last, never for one moment getting bored.It all started with the Snow Sisters and some 20 + book's on and still going strong, it's been a wonderful journey.Seaside Nights told the story of Sky and Sawyer and yet again we are totally captivated from the very beginning, we are already familiar with Sky because she featured in her brother Pete Lacroux s story and very quickly became part of everything Seaside..!!To say this story is beautiful and endearing is an understatement, the way it's portrayed and worded is what we have cone to expect from this author.With her own Tattoo parlour Inky Skies, she's feeling pretty good about herself but with most of her friends now married she's starting to feel a little lonely, but that's all about to change.As she's sitting in a Restaurant/Bar with her Friends Sky is completely unaware of Sawyer Bass, she decides to get her book of poems out, which is nothing out of the ordinary, as soon as she hears his beautiful voice it stops her in her tracks and as she looks up he looks at her.When Sawyer comes in to Inky Skies for a tattoo the next day he's completely taken by surprise, not expecting to see Sky, the girl he couldn't forget about from the night before and from then on we witnessed the start of a beautiful relationship.Sky and Sawyer are so well suited they completely get each other, Sawyer Plays the guitar, writes songs and like Sky loves poetry so when he reveals to Sky that he is a Professional Boxer she is shocked and finds it hard to comprehend but after explaining the situation about his Father's illness and why he needs to do this last big fight it takes her a while but she tries to support him but his love of Boxing does put a strain on their relationship at times.Throughout their story there are a lot of touching and emotional moments the way Sawyer interacts with his parents is one thing and it is so apparent how torn he is with doing the right thing now that he has Sky in his life.Seaside Nights is a beautiful story there's a lot of worry and concern for Sawyer you really feel it and for Sky too, we were hoping and praying that Sawyer will do the right thing, we got our wish and with a beautiful epilogue things couldn't have worked out better. We had all the crew there to help out which was great and even though we've been set up ready for Lizzie's and Blue's story we know there's so much more bubbling under the surface, it's absolutely brilliant.

Another lovely book from Melissa foster in the seaside stories. Sky had found her true love just by looking across the bar she could not get him out of her heart all night and then when he walked into her tattoo shop she could not believe her eyes. The tattoo he asked her to do was a few words when she had finished doing his tattoo on his back with the rest of words on there she was slowly falling secretly in love with him.Sawyer was also slowly falling in love with her. When he left he gave her is number and she did the same.They started to date and after a little while SKY found out that sawyer was a boxer and that he had a fight coming up the only thing that bothered SKY was he was boxer she could not handled that but she was falling further in love with him after she spoke with her seaside sisters she decided to go and see him box with them and their husbands as he came to the end of his sparring match the sparring partner knocked sawyer out.This SKY do not like so she just walked away would not take any of Sawyer calls. So he decided on selling the house he had brought and was doing up gave up boxing and tried not to think of sky but this was no good. He decided to go and find her he remembered as he was having the tattoo shop opening so he went along and helped her to get it finished for the opening.On opening day he sang to her and with all her friends, family and his family there he asked her to do a tattoo for him and on his back SKY said she would and asked what it was and he said s b and s l SKY said she would and at the moment sawyer said it could be s b and s b if she would marry him and sky said she would marry him, the he slipped his grandmother's ring on her finger and everyone cheered.

Seaside Nights: Sky Lacroux is a hot romance set in Provincetown, Massachusetts.Sky is a complex mix, she owns her own tattoo parlour, loves poetry and longs to meet someone who is deep and caring.Sawyer Bass sings at open mike performances, and he is a top state boxer. He is training for a big fight, if he wins, it will earn him enough money to pay for the healthcare his father needs. But a medical checkup has a serious warning for him.Sky and Sawyer begin a relationship, one which looks perfect if only Sky can get over her dislike of boxing. Will it be the stumbling block for their future? You'll have to read the book and find out.

If you have read any of Melissa's books before this is another one that don't disappoint.If you've never read Melissa's books before where have you been.Every time I read a Melissa foster book I think I've found my next book hero that I have fallen in love with however I feel in love with sawyer before I was a third of the way though.Skye and Sawyer's story is truly brilliant written and Melissa is able to get the reader in laughter and in tears and we catch up with the seaside girls Bella Janna Leanna and Amy to what more could you want from a book

Sky Lacroux is beautiful free spirit and has found her way in life as a talented tattoo artist and painter so when she opens her tattoo shop with an apartment above she is so happy, she's back home near her family and is ready for love but when she sees Sawyer Bass at the Governor Bradford bar and he starts singing she is lost in his voice.Sawyer Bass is at a crossroads regarding were his job is going and how fast his father health is deteriorating, he sees a beautiful woman reading when he is singing and is awed.When they meet its not all love and roses they have a hills to climb weather they do it together or not.

Omg! What can I say, I'm so in love with Melissa...I couldn't wait to read Sawyer and Sky's story, but that's nothing new with Melissa's books...Sawyer is a very hot, drool inducing wet dream...He makes your pulse soar and your legs tremble... I never wanted this story to end..Sky is a tough, sexy tattooists, but she also has a soft side and is the perfect woman for Sawyer..I can't praise Melissa highly enough!!If you haven't read this or any of her books, get out from under the rock you're hiding under and get buying!!!

Enjoying all the Love in Bloom series. Sky is over-protected by her brothers and when she meets Sawyer she is blown away until she learns of what he does , even though there is a reason why he is doing it.

Another excellent read, I love romance s & this has it all, it even made me cry. I would recommend this series.
