Excellent quality
I have used this make for many years to remove surface rust on antique metalwork prior to refinishing it. It works well and does not cause obvious scratching and I haven’t found anything better.

Good quality ultra fine wire wool
The Liberon steel wire wool arrived after 4 days and has proved to be very effective sanding my oak kitchen work top in between applications of Liberon Danish Oil (another quality product from liberon!). The wire wool leaves the worktop feeling smooth with no undulations while building up the layers of oil.My only quibble is that the title for this product is a bit misleading, although I probably have received 2 metres of wire wool, it is wound so tightly into strips approximately 10cm x 20cm in size, it certainly does not feel like 2 metres worth of wire wool.Apart from that, it is effective and I shall be ordering again in the future.

Great! Why did I wait before trying this!
Delivered quickly and works a treat!Had been contemplating using like this for some while. REALLY Glad I finally ordered some. I use it for polishing minor blemishes on painted metalwork and it works SO well! I was amazed to find it also works on Glass, wood or plastic inc. G.R.P. etc.Use it for preparing a surface prior to lacquering/painting, or just before applying a hard wax. It removes minor scratches / blemishes and leaves a perfect surface ready for to finish. I even took out some minor imperfections in my windscreen! (also no more squeaking wipers!)Try it - You will NOT be disappointed!

Great depending on what you Brendan to use it for
Very fine metal wool. Purchased with a specific task in mind - to rub down new Oak doors between coats of Osmo door oil. For this purpose the wire wool is ideal with each door taking around 50 minutes to rub down and produce an excellent finish. Used 8 meters for 13 doors. Would strongly recommend using a dust mask and eye protection as a fine metal dust is produced from the rubbing which will be breathed in. Also scrupulously cleaning up afterwards to make sure that no metal dust is left behind that might turn to rust and spoil the finish or mark floor/carpets etc. Please note that this was excellent for the task of producing a very fine finish, however if you are looking for something that is needed to remove more material then you might want a heavier gauge of wire, as this is a polishing grade of wire.

It's ok
Bought it to seal up some holes to stop mice coming in. It's not the best for that job, it doesn't have the cutting edges that you'd expect from a steel wool it feels like a blend between steel wool and cottonballs, it's quite soft and you can't really pull it to extend it either.Might be good for polishing things or something but not what we got it for and not the quality we expected.
