I love the shape of these for bay leaves and other spices for soups and other recipes. I bought them for Cincinnati-style chili, since it calls for bay leaves and whole allspice, which is removed after the chili is done cooking. I haven't used these for tea, but I imagine they work for that just as well!

I bought these for use with our 3-D printer. We often have small parts that need to go into the alcohol bath for cleaning. These are the perfect cages to hold small bits. Highly recommend.

Great infuser. I use them for loose whole leaf tea. I like the length to use in a thermos.

This 3-pack of 4.25 x 1.75 inch floating stainless steel infusers is great for making large amounts of tea and great deal for the price. I bought these specifically to fit in a 94oz glass jar that had a 3.125 inch (77mm) diameter. Many of the large and extra large cylindrical/ball type infusers would not fit in the opening of this jar I am using. I used all three infusers to steep a total of 1 cup of dried tea leaves in 8 cups of water. It is not a super fine mesh like some of the other infusers that have the pinhole sized mesh so really tiny bits (like celery seed size) will get through, but that doesn't bother me. I just strain again with a coffee filter. For my needs, these were perfect.
