Lip Balm making kit DYI 55 piece set, make 10 Chap Sticks, includes melt and pour balm and all you need to craft Balmdiggity Lips

It was worth the purchase.. Step by step directions very simple to do... Yes, I am most definitely getting it again

I bought this for a sleepover party and all the girls were really excited to do this project. It’s a great idea but came up a bit short in some areas:1. There is not enough base balm for 12 lip balms. I had 6 girls and they were disappointed to find that their second stick only ended up half filled. I was very careful to measure every one and there was no spillage. There simply wasn’t enough for the number intended. Unless the company increases the amount of base included, you will only have enough for 8-9 lip balms, if you’re careful.2. It is not clear how much the eye dropper holds so it’s hard to measure how much flavoring to use.3. The flavoring must have a high chemical content. The girls all complained that the lip balm stung their lips. I tried them all and they do have a stinging effect.4. I would have preferred additional wooden sticks and plastic droppers. If you only have 2-4 kids doing this project, the current number may be ok, but there’s not enough for a larger group. There should be one plastic dropper for each flavor (in this case, 4 rather than 2: 4 droppers for 4 flavors.) It’s hard to not get mixed flavoring because you have to use one dropper for two flavors.One more thing to note, the balm solidifies very quicky so I found myself constantly popping them back in the microwave as soon as the flavor was added. The wax is extremely hot but if you let it cool, it will quickly get lumpy. So this is probably a better project for older kids who can be more careful to avoid getting hot wax on themselves.UPDATE: The seller promptly responded to my review and offered a refund or replacement. I appreciate the offer to make things right.

I absolutely love this chapstick making kit!! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it doesn’t come with enough balm base to fill up the 10 tubes it comes with. There’s only enough to fill up about 8 of them. With that being said, I like everything else about this kit. I love the way it feels on my lips, it’s nice and thick and smooth. The chapstick is extremely easy to make and I’ve had so much fun making them with my daughter. We got creative decorating the labels, mixing and matching the flavors and giving them away as gifts.

Omg! This was a huge hit for our tweens Harry Potter party. We bought a kit for our potions class and the kids had so much fun we were sad we didn’t have more kits on hand! Easy, smelled great, so much creativity for the kids. They’ll all likely get a kit and make gifts for each other. Worth every cent, buy more than 1!

We bought this for our daughter’s 12th birthday and she absolutely LOVES it! Small issue upon receipt but the seller was absolutely lovely to work with and quick to respond and resolve the issue. I hope they start selling just the balm base as I can see my daughter wanting to continue making different scents/flavors in the future (no problem to purchase additional essential oils to use). One thing to note: the picture of the balm base is different than what you receive, even though you get the same amount. This through us a little bit as it was flatter and wider and didn’t look to be as much just based solely on the picture itself. Great, natural products we felt good about purchasing for her to play with and put on her skin, and they really do smell and taste good! The seller is awesome, too! Win/win!

Thank you for an easy DIY Christmas gift for my family!At first I was a little worried that I wouldn’t have enough Lip Balm Base since the container appears to be small- but, I was happy to find out I not only had enough to fill the 10 provided tubes, I even had some left over :)Thanks again! I would definitely buy this again and recommend to others.

I have a five year old daughter and she really loved this project (with help) we handled the melting parts and she helped mix the flavors and add colors from lipstick (a tip in the instructions from the sellers). It got a little messy but was an easy peasy clean up. We only used three of the tubes so far I love that this product is a more than one day project for her!

Our daughter loves anything DIY - so naturally, we ordered her a gift suited to her interests - a lip balm kit for her 12th birthday - she loved it! Everything was included in this lip balm kit to make 16 tubes of lip balm... from the already mixed lip balm base, the 5 flavors (cherry, peppermint, orange, bubble gum & bavarian creme), pipettes, mixing cups and tubes, to the decorate your own labels - easy. All she had to do was follow the directions for melting the base, flavoring it, filling the tubes and voila! - a couple of customized lips balms made in minutes. She's busy making lip balms for her friends as I type - great gift idea for children and adults. Try it - you'll like it.
