KFI ProductsSE45 ATV Stealth Winch Kit - 4500 lb. Capacity

Bought this for my Kawasaki Teryx sxs. Figured I'd use it if I ever got stuck. Have never even gotten close to being stuck. Did pull a quad ATV up a steep bank when the driver lost control and slipped down off the trail.However I've used it around the house 100's of times. Pulled cars, trucks into my garage (backyard mechanic). Have pulled my truck out of snowbank, neighbor out of snowbank, ups and FedEx up my driveway when they couldn't get out because of ice and snow. Have pulled dozen of fallen trees, limbs and removed Shrubbery with it. Have pulled engines, transmission, axles with it. Have pulled wooden skids with 1000lbs of weight on them off my trailer, off my truck, into my garage. I've even pulled, moved large rocks with snatch block. Rocks that where way too big to move with compact tractor and front end loader capable of lifting 1500 lbs.Bottom line this thing works, has plenty of power and has performed flawlessly.Never knew how useful a winch could be - this is for me been a great purchase

I bought this winch thinking I was buying a quality product . Its mouned on my utv and hardly use it. I went to use it to raise my snow plow and it wouldnt work ( just made clicking noise like it was working). I contacted the company and they had me send it back for repairs. Well I remounted the unit after repairs and after a couple more years I needed it but same problem ( makes noise but winch dosent move). I probabily used this winch a total of 6 times over the years. *** UPDATE , I took winch apart and moisture has ruined the motor inside . I have never been in water, only use the side by side on the farm. Kfi said the rubber seal melts when it gets hot and allows water inside. Idk how it got hot when I hardly used it? but for $69 you can buy another motor to mount on the unit. *** If you have a kfi product i guess you better not ride in the rain or wash your machine. what a joke!

After receiving the KFI winch and mount from amazon I installed it on my 2012 kawasaki teryx with no problems. The mounting directions and wiring diagrams are very easy to follow. However, after I had everything mounted and wired the winch did not work. I immediately emailed the manufacturer about the situation and within 1 hr. I had a response from tech support(awesome) The KFI technician clearly explained what areas to trouble shoot. I did as the tech advised and the winch works perfectly. I would give it 5 stars but it was a pain in the butt takink the contactor out to trouble shoot. I was very suprised how quick and thorough the viper technician was. I would highly recommend this product.

After a lot of online research, I decided the KFI gave the best bang for the buck. Have not used it yet, so I can't comment on the operation or durability. It looks like a good quality product. Install took several hours, but was pretty straightforward. Everything looks good after the install. I only have two minor complaint's. 1) All the wires are too long. So you have to figure what to do with the excess. 2) I'm not to fond of the connectors and wires for the relay solenoid. They look a little flimsy to me.Overall, it looks to be a great addition to my 2015 RZR 900 Trail.

First of all, I didn't install this on an atv, I installed it in my toyota 4runner. I was looking for a small winch that could still be used to recover the vehicle when stuck. The 4runner has quite a lot of space behind the front bumper so I was looking to do a hidden winch install. That sort of ruled out the larger 8000 and 10000 lbs winches. It also helps that these are a bit lighter, so less extra weight on the front suspension.Installation went smooth, the supplied cables are long enough, I even had to trim some of them. The polyester line does look a bit slim, but it's holding up fine. If you need some extra strength, get a pulley and hook the end of the line to your vehicle that instantly doubles the capacity (but also the speed and travel).

This winch can't be beat, I've owned several of them on different machines, never once had an issue. It used to pull my Teryx on 34's out of the nastiest mud with ease, and now it pulls my rzr on 32's out even easier. This winch has never struggled with anything I've asked it to do, and has never broken on me. Great product, highly recommend.

I bought this with the KFI 100660 mounting bracket for my 2014 Polaris RzR 570 LE. Ordered it on a Monday evening and it was on my porch within 48 hours with standard shipping. It fit really well into the machine although it took a few hours to install. I haven't used it on the trail yet but it looks good and worked well when I tested it.

So far so good. Only used it a few times and it did great. Even winched up a generator off my pick up. Very happy with this purchase.
