Overall, this is a lovely light blanket. I’m giving it a 4 because I’m pretty sure that a lot of the squares are faux-silk polyester. Otherwise, it is very pretty.

I received this silk blanket yesterday. It is so much better than I expected - and I expected a lot. The details and craftmanship put into this blanket are extraordinary. I will by another for a gift - because I am keeping this one!

This is indeed made with sari pieces and appears to contain hand stitching! It is lightweight, just as I wanted, and looks quite sumptuous on my bed. The price is very reasonable - I've seen similar items selling for upwards of $60! I plan to order at least one more, just for the variety.

I wanted a thin cool blanket for summer naps in my easy chair under the ceiling fan and this is perfect. A satin-cotton feel with a quilted quality and very beautiful. It's long enough to cover and even wrap under my feet which was my complaint about other blankets but the perfect width for a person laying in a chair or on a sofa napping. I'll buy more in the future THANKS. Not sure how long it will last but for decorative bed cover this would be fantastic in the larger size.

It is pretty and visibly hand made. But it is not very thick. More for decorative purposes I would say. Definitely cotton.
