These lights have worked incredibly well on my bowfishing rig. I installed them in May of 2016 and they have held up through many slimey, foggy nights out on the lake. although I'm using a relatively small boat, these lights are more than enough to simply have two on each side, as they penetrate the water so well. Seeing fish in 15-20 feet of water is no problem with these lights on calm nights, and they also have a nice flood-effect that lights the surrounding water well enough see potential hazards. After running the lights for several hours at a time they generate little heat, which seems to cut down on the amount of flying insects that want to crowd the boat. The only downside I have noticed with these lights are how they drain a battery after a few hours of use. This, of course, is a easy fix with the addition of another 12v battery, but is something to consider none the less. I currently bring four 12v batteries on a typical trip to the lake, and have still had nights cut short due to dead batteries. With one battery dedicated to the trolling motor, and two others being used to power 5 of the 48w lights along with a few low draw led's, the backup battery is needed by about the 4th hour. (Considering some of the batteries are older, these numbers are sure to change in other instances).Overall these lights deserve 5/5 for great packaging, functionality, and brightness. They have been in use for approx 50-60 hours in semi-wet conditions and have out performed all other lights I have tried thus far. All the lights work great right out of the box, with enough light to stick fish in murky water or light the path of a vehicle. Good lights at a good price.UPDATE: I now run these lights (5 of them) on a 24v system between two deep cycle batteries. I have yet to have any problems with them, and they still seem to be in great shape.

Great set of lights for cheap! I installed them on our paving equipment and so far so good. They are very bright, let us see about longevity. Update: 12/24/18 these lights stood up to the abuse of vibratory rollers and our tool trucks this season! These lights are so bright that other contractors working with us on an airport project said they were outfitting their rigs with these lights. Only 1 light had the bezel come off, but it was because an operator banged machine against a wall hitting corner of light. Nevertheless light still worked. Read other comments about noise coming from lights, I've installed a total of 24 of these on different types of equipment and never experienced noise. These lights really saved us at 1oclock am in the middle of a newly constructed taxiway.

These were purchased primarily because of the low price. I needed some extra lighting on my tractor for moving snow. Although 1 was dead on arrival I'm still giving these 4 stars as they seem to be very well constructed, came with a mounting bracket and what looks like stainless mounting hardware and they are very bright, perfect for what I needed. As I stated 1 arrived non-functional but the 4 I have in use now are just fine and for the price I paid I have no complaints.

Nice flood light, easy hook-up. Lots of light for the size. I mounted 6 of these on my LS tractor, 2 rear, 2 side lights, and 2 mounted on the bucket arms...They work fantastic!Would buy again!!
