Love is boundless. By Patrick Dust
I learned a lot from Proust was a neuroscientist before I gave a public lecture about memory drawing on philosophy, neuroscience and a Spanish poem by a Nobel prize winner. A Book About Love is even better than the Proust offering and I wholeheartedly recommend it for the general reader and for psychologists as well. It's beautifully researched and written in an urbane, sophisticated, and easy to read prose. The author incurred the wrath of colleagues in the publishing business, but that does not change the fact that he has a probing and worthwhile mind. You'll learn important things from reading this book.

Just buy the book
The first page being his apologies for formerly recalled work was slightly unsettling at first (since I wasn't aware of any of his previous work). But from the beginning to end, this book was incredibly eye opening and profound, while shrouded in simplicity. So well written, well ordered and full of resourced information. The book was truly captivating from start to finish and is one of my all time favorite reads. Reading it has changed so many things about me and my view of life in only a matter of days. Just buy the book!

Lots of info!
This book about the psychology of love is fascinating and this will be a book I re-read over the years. I particularly was fond of his analyzation of Jane Austen's books and her life & the Civil War and how it effected the people who lost so many family members. Highly recommended!

Fascinating, Beautiful, and Under-appreciated
This is seriously one of the best books I've read in a long time. I listened to the audiobook and bought the kindle so I could make highlights, too. I think Lehrer is someone who deserves second chances for his past sins in journalism—like all of us do. This book shows that not only is he still a beautiful writer, but that he has a human heart worth loving and a message that can change your own. I feel like I'm going to come back to this one day when I'm a parent. But for now, it's helping me understand myself and love in a way that makes me really happy.

Love Love
Jonah Lehrer does an amazing job at writing on love and living up to it in his personal life. This book is highly recommended for people that really want to delve into 'love' and find the best ways to love others. Articulate, insightful, and fun.
