Low Voltage Outdoor Lighting Extension Cable 6m

This is an electricity cable used for low voltage (12volts) garden lights. It arrived on time and did its job admirably. Looking carefully I was at a loss to see the holes the electricity flows through. A pretty worthless piece of kit some might say. But, so I'm told by learned professors, the electrons are so small (you can't see them, you know) that the holes only need be a little big larger than them for electricity to flow. It was a nice product, well wrapped and superbly presented. Little did I know that it would do nothing unless is it stripped on its insulation (stripped naked, you understand), connected to other wires, lights, transformers and switches (sometimes, even time switches!), before it is of any use. Methinks, I will complain to the Trading Standards about Amazon's dismal lack of information of this fact that may have advised me against buying such a cable that relies on other devices before it will function. Anyway, and no thanks to Amazon, the garden lights work OK. My final point is a technical one: If the electrons are really so small why don't they just flow out of the black stuff that covers the bare copper wires? I think they do leak out because since I used the cable to repair my garden lights the grass in our garden is greener and grows like Billy! My wife thinks I'm daft and said she fed the garden (was it with those chunks of bread that the birds keep stealing) and the rain had watered the grass and the sun has heated the ground which, in turn, has heated the soil so the grass roots can release their energy to make the grass grow. This is a load of utter rubbish - it was the electrons escaping from the cable that caused the grass to grow. There, Mr Amazon, you can sell the black stuff (cable) as coiled up fertiliser (PS: You may as well take the copper wire out first and sell it to a Scrappy if you sell it as a fertiliser).Best wishesTerry Keenan

I needed some extra cable as my low voltage lighting system is getting old now and the cables have degraded and stopped working. As my lights are older than the latest plug and play system I just chopped off the end and wired them into my junction boxes. Came quickly, well packaged and happy with the price.

exactly as ordered - no hassle

With lite adjustment i was able to connect to my cable, and is working perfectly, i was worried with extending over 10m but things seem to be fine and the lights are fully working.

I sent cable back as it was not compatible andI am waiting refund

More than happy with the quality of this replacement charger especially as it came quickly and cost virtually nothing. I could have paid 6 times as much for no discernable difference in quality.

This lead had the wrong fitting for my lights but was a good length return was easy and buyer refunded immediately
