Be confident knowing the problem
I ordered FXTUL M3-C Motorcycle Diagnostic Tool OBD2 Scanner Compatible for UZUKI Vespa EUROV and OBD2 Motorcycle, Universal Car Engine Fault Code Reader CAN Diagnostic Scan Tool. We have three motorcycles and there always seems to be something wrong with them. This tool allows you to connect to the system you think has a problem and then work through the prompts to diagnose or confirm/deny what you thought to be a problem. We used this on our Suzuki and it confirmed the problem, so we could take it to the motorcycle repair confidently shop knowing the problem. I recommend FXTUL M3-C Motorcycle Diagnostic Tool OBD2 Scanner Compatible for UZUKI Vespa EUROV and OBD2 Motorcycle, Universal Car Engine Fault Code Reader CAN Diagnostic Scan Tool.

It can help
My husband has a Suzuki C90T. that happens to have the problem light on. (Can't call it a check engine light since it is a FI (fuel Injection) light.) The scanner was able to connect without any problems. It shows that he has 6 codes on his bike, some are in the history and some are current. Without this tool he was only able to get code to do the light flash. I would say that if you want to work on your own equipment this tool will help.

A Lot of Tool
I am using the OBD2-II function for my truck. With that said, this is a must have if you work on motorcycles or scooters. Set-up is easy and functionality is probably more than most weekend repairman will ever need. Its a good tool and well made. Plenty of connectors. No issues. No regrets.

Fills a small gap in my diagnostic toolbox.
I do a lot of automotive repair work and, rarely, only occasionally, the odd motorcycle job. One of the reasons I don't do a lot of motorcycle work is I just don't have a lot of the specialty tools necessary. This is one of those specialty tools. And in the scheme of things, it's better to have this when you need it than to have nothing at all. But in all honesty, this isn't the best made scanner I've ever used. The REAL killer is the short lead length, they could triple the length and they'd be about right.I'm also not a fan of this not coming with a carry case. A simple case would have been nice.It also only comes with adapters for a few bikes. You'll need to get bike-specific adapters if your make isn't here. Or get another scanner with the correct adapters. In short, it's a tool that if you desperately need it, it's better to have this than nothing at all, and I'm glad to at least have it in my tool kit. But honestly, there are better ones out there.

Seams to work well with my bikes that I have.
This worked well with clearing a couple codes on my Suzuki GXSR. I believe I will have to play around with it so it can read my BMW but I didn't have time to get back with it. You do get a couple different adaptors and you have to use the right one. I haven't tried to update it, I will have to look into doing that and maybe I will be able to connect to my BMW S1000RR. Otherwise it does work and I will have to play with it more to get more use.
