This lotion is brilliant, my skin we're very dry ...i've tried a lot of different kind of lotion then I came across this cetraben, after few days of using, my skin is not dry anymore

Easy to apply and makes my skin feel moisturised and soft.

Sinks in nicely, not greasy and smell is quite minimal.

Ok as a regular moisture cream nothing special

this cream boasts a lot of benefits such as vegan friendly and cruelty free production/testing, plus many more. but for me the main thing is that it works, and is a pleasure to use. its not too greasy and absorbs quickly whilst soothing dry skin leaving it feeling soft and soothed. and also has a pleasant scent, something like coco-butter but a bit lighter.

Without getting too involved in the ingredients, it does have a smell that is slightly botanical, probably all the oils mentioned on the label. It has a slightly medical aroma to it, whether I would find this annoying if I was applying it everywhere I don't know. I tested this on my elbows very crepey and my shins which have that slight crocodile look to them, no reaction to the lotion was is good, but I'm not a sensitive skin person.Centreben is a medical grade skin Emollients manufacturer. My mum has to use their more medical based creams around her stoma and this is probably more of a mass market product you will find on the supermarket shelf. Still of the same high quality and effective for dry skin.A trusted brand and if you like the fragrance of on initial go that is great, but if not, it does wear off very quickly by the time, I had finished typing to this point the smell was fading fast. My hands which have always been very dry, feel really soft and not greasy at all.I never rub any lotion in excessively. I tend to give it a light rub to gently get it on to my body where it needs to be and then leave it to soak in. My skin is quite greedy, my husband says that the excess weight I carry is probably all the lotions and potions I have used, cheeky whatsit! For me I never seem to suffer from pilling, perhaps because my skin actually asborbs the amount I put on and my skincare routine is simply, shower gel or soap and then body lotion when and where I think I need it. If you keep your regime simply and do not use multiple products on top of each other your dermis will cope and absorb the products you do use. I have lovely skin, a dermatologist told me so when doing a small op on my face. I always work on the basis that you don't need to put gallons on if you buy a good quality lotion, which makes it last longer and work more effectively.My nan and grandma both used two cheap face creams all their life, never wore make up only used water and soap to wash with. They were both looked amazing well into their 90's. So keep it simple. One face cream, one brand of body lotion and one cleanser, and you are basically done. Less in the bathroom cabinet. Find one you like and stick with it. It could be this one for the body.Happy to recommend.
