I was concerned because it lacks venting, but it’s great quality, sturdy, looks good, and won’t rain in you when you close it over your head to get into car/bus/train. It’s also more waterproof that strait cloth umbrellas

I wrote a review a while back on this SPF umbrella. Some people complained that it wouldn’t hold up to very strong winds. I live in Miami, and not the frozen tundra, like Chicago, where winds gust to hurricane force. Xixvon makes a “Pro” ($82), version for stiffer winds. My $39 version handles the Miami wind just fine. And the sun protection is second to none. I know, that’s a bold statement. However, I have tried other SPF umbrellas. Some didn’t function correctly, got stuck, or smelled a funky plastic/kerosine smell for days.Xixvon had cheapened the quality of their umbrella and lowered the cost. Now their quality is back and so is the cost. Fine with me. The ONLY THING I caution you with this umbrella, is do NOT allow it to SNAP open. It’s very forceful and after three weeks, it popped open so hard, that the cable system flew out of it🤣My suggestion is Control the opening by placing your opposite hand in top and restrict the gunshot opening, a little. I’ve done this for four months and it works fine. I only gave it four stars cause peeps tend to read those over five star reviews, which this umbrella deserves.

Something that is always needed when you live in Florida is a good sunshade that stays in place. Surprisingly .. I like this umbrella style. It opens easily, collapses easily (when you are ready to drive again) and most importantly, it stays in place due to the handle giving it extra stability.I keep this in constant use. It fits in the door pocket like any folding compact umbrella.So far, so good. It's still intact (no tears!).

I bought the white and it is so chic. The up/down buttons work. You do have to take some time to straighten out the folds after opening it. It does have the 12 spokes as described. After closing it with the button, you have to push it a little more to get it all the way closed before opening it again. I had the bodyguard umbrella before this for 6 yrs and I lost it somewhere. I didn’t think I’d find another just as good but this seems to be a good contender as well.

Ok, I was hoping it would do everything they said it would. In heavy rain and in high wind storms for 3 months strait in California I used this for 2 1/2 months.PROS: Folds up so as to Not Allow the water to drip everywhere. (Super Good) Opens Extremely Fast. Extremely high end materails & construction. The band around circumference of Umbrella lights up great in dark.CONS: Will collapse in high wind storm. High winds causes it to flip upwards in the opposite direction and its Not Easy to return to its downward posistion. Also very very hard to close. Now I am a women without strong arm muscels. It took a lot of time and effort to get this Umbrella to close down like it should. So just beware. Other than that its a very good umbrella. I would try a different one if purchasing again.

This umbrella is exactly what I was looking for, it holds up in strong winds and rain!

The very first time I tried to close is , it tore. Material is not traditional umbrella fabric. I would never recommend .

Wow... First thought upon openingthis umbrella and saw how it was packaged and presented for me. Sleek look and feel and easy to use. I like the hi-vis strip around it for traffic. I was able to test umbrella, popped a two times in the high wind but didn't break. Highly recommend.

Me ha gustado mucho la experiencia de uso que he tenido con este paraguas. Resiste cuando hay viento y lo puedes llevar en cualquier sitio. Compré uno y cuando lo usé pedí otro para llevarlo en el coche.
