Amazing cooler
This is an amazing cooler!I recently took a long trip and used this cooler for travel in the car.I have medications that require refrigeration. I used this cooler in the with 12V and it kept my meds cold the entire trip even when not running! As long as I was driving I kept it on. But when I pulled over at night to sleep at rest stops I killed the car and it stayed cold for quite sometime not running. It is well insulated. I would say about 3 hours for sure. It might last longer but I would wake up turn on the car for air and turn the cooler on to cool it back down before killing the car again. So if I’d gotten a hotel not sure it’d kept for a solid 7-8 hours of sleep if it was left in the car. But definitely 3-4 hours because I would check to make sure it was still cold as soon as I woke up. It always was! My meds stayed cold the whole time.Best investment for traveling!

This product has been a lifesaver
I am so impressed with this little refrigerator. It gets so cold fast. I can actually make ice cubes in under five hours and it stays cold. Even after it’s been off forever I can freeze things or I can use as a refrigerator. I am constantly on the road we also have an off grid property that this works perfect for I can’t say enough about this and products is so quiet I don’t even know that it’s on. It’s also very low wattage so it works perfect with a portable generator. I love this.UPDATESo I have had this refrigerator since October 20 23I am in the California desert where it gets to 115 in the summer almost every day and I have use this since October since we got here every single day it’s plugged in all day all night and it is still running as of today which is July 14, 2024. It still freezes it barely draws over 35 W. It’s absolutely awesome I just wanted to let you all know that I have had it for close to a year now and even in this extreme heat, it still freezes properly works properly, it’s absolutely amazing. I love it. I don’t know what I would do without it because this is the only way we have to keep our food cold out here I’ve ordered several cents and they are all working exactly the same as this one super impressed.

After a year
If I write reviews it only after I used the product. I have had this cooler for a year. I work on heavy equipment the cooler stays on the floor of my service truck. It has ran for a year straight from cold to extreme heat. The only issue I have had is the plug for cigarettes lighter melted. I connect to the battery and have not had an issue since. If you are on the go all the time and like cold drinks. This is a great product in my opinion

Perfect size for me for travel
The only thing I do not like about this little Alpicool is how noisy it is, and it runs often. I have a larger Alpicool I use as a fridge (that isn''t noisy), and use this one for freezer. It holds enough to make my life much easier. I have thermometers in them, and each one runs colder than the actual temperature on the fridge/freezer says it is. I also like that it/they are keeping things cold. For example, if Alpicool gauge says 39F, it is actually 34-35F.
