At first glance, the rack looked good - seemed sturdy, well put together etc.However, the chicken wire covering is most certainly not vermin proof - that was obvious. But I re-wired the entire thing with proper rodent proof wire.On closer inspection and use, the entire frame is not quite square. It's badly put together, with flimsy screws. The door doesnt close properly because it's not square and also because the hinges actually bend! Just not sturdy enough for the job.Two of the internal rails needed screwing in - I say screwing it, we added screws because the rails are actually held in with some other sort of 'thing'.It took a few hours to sort everything - and I reasoned with myself that at least the drawers themselves were OK. ... then of course I picked one up and the edging where there was a wood knot, came away!Honestly, there's a lot of wood so it's kind of worth it. But be prepared to do a lot of diy on it to make it fit for purpose. You have been warned!

It does the job - barely - but the standard of workmanship is rather depressing. Screws only half screwed in, a handle and screw missing, split and broken ends of some timbers and the whole thing rocking on its four feet because it isn't quite square.

Very flimsy. I had to reattach the back panel, which was rather poorly designed in two parts and very thin, easily splitting. Had to make other adjustments to make it functional.Stores a lot of apples though. Somehow some apples did get nibbled so it is possible for things to get inside

Although the item looks well finished and is delivered assembled we were most disappointed to find that having stored all our apple crop inside after only a couple of weeks it had been decimated by mice which can clearly get through the mesh sides. It is clearly not fit for its intended purpose.

Although this appeared a good design the item had been poorly put together, the back was coming off, the wire netting was likely to spike your fingers and the door jammed. I communicated with the company, who were helpful and they offered a refund or replacement. I returned the item.

Like it a lot, it is already full of apples and is great

I'm very impressed ,seems to be very well made and sturdy it will be ideal for storing veg off my allotment
