It looks like a jar with fireflies in it with a handle for littles to carry it. It has multiple sounds and songs to choose from along with different lighting options. The timer is nice too if you don’t want it playing all night.

I purchased this in 2018 and have literally had it on nonstop since my baby was brought home. I wanted a unique light/noise machine for her garden themed nursery and what better than a jar of fireflies. Honestly, this was one of my splurge items and I still adore it. My Little is just a bit over 2 now and she still needs and uses it for nap and bedtime. I ain’t kidding. That wave sound is embedded into our subconscious.Personally, the other sounds are just too much for me, and are too grating, but other people may like them. I wish there was a rain sound, but so far the wave was best. And the lights are perfect. There’s four different displays, I believe, but the first one felt most realistic so we kept it on that setting when I was up in the wee hours at the beginning breastfeeding. It’s just enough of a light source without being too bright. I don’t use the Bluetooth part much, but the times I’ve tried it the speaker was amazing and clear.Overall, I’m impressed with the design and how long it’s lasted going nonstop. It even survived a stressful move and being tossed around when she gets a hold of it. My only complaint is that the charger is short and brittle. The metal part bent super easily and has always had trouble staying in the port. And I have yet to be able to find a charger that matches it so I have a backup. And the battery life is not long enough to go all night so I feel it must always stay plugged in. Also, sometimes if it falls or dies, you have to go through a weird reset routine to get the sound to turn back on or else you keep getting this busy signal sound instead, and it never is consistent on how to get that fixed.But other than that this is a perfect, budget friendly, darling little nightlight and noise machine and I would immediately rush to buy another if this one every gives out.

I love this sound machine! Not only is is adorable, but the sound quality is excellent, there is no noticeable change in the loop. You can connect this to your phone via Bluetooth which is great because my son loves listening to baby lullabys on Pandora while we get ready for bed, then I turn on the ocean sound and he knows it’s time to go to sleep. Also, the handle is not a flimsy plastic, but a more sturdy metal like material. I accidentally dropped this on tile and it held up very well, no dents and still works beautifully. It is also rechargeable! It comes with a cord to charge it or to keep it plugged in but there was not a plug that goes into the wall for the usb cord. This was not a problem for me because I have at least 10 of those plugs laying around. This night light sound machine is also very portable. I can throw it in a diaper bag and the charge lasts for hours! I wish you could adjust the brightness of the fireflies and not just different light show for diaper changes in the middle of the night. I just use my phone flashlight. Also, if it had a remote and or was controllable via smartphone that would make this product that much better. None of these cons was enough to deduct a star.

This is such a cute sound machine! Has a variety of noises for my little one, we particularly are fond of the ocean waves. We don’t really use the night light feature since we have something else that we are using for that that is a tad brighter, but when he gets older I can see our baby liking all the light effects. Also great Bluetooth feature that I blast some Beyoncé on when he’s not using it so great value lol the only negative I can say is that sometimes when I turn it on at night it comes on at full volume for some reason and scares me and my baby so I’ve gotten in the habit of placing my hand over the speaker part when I turn it on so it doesn’t wake up the baby. Battery life lasts one night and needs to be recharged every morning which is fine, it works plugged into the wall too when I forget to plug the thing in. I love this product and I am planning on buying it for all the pregnant mamas I know.

My husband and I went through lots of options for a white noise machine / sound soother for our daughter. PRO TIP: you need one that has a continuous function for bedtime. Nap time, timers are fine, but bedtime, anything that stops can become a potential problem when your child wakes up. We learned this the hard way because we'd been using our Google Home Mini and it had this glitch that would randomly stop playing in the middle of the night, and our daughter would wake up screaming.I wish they had a few more sounds in this - we pretty much only use the ocean sound, and sometimes the rain sound (but it's a little harsh) - but the lights are actually also something that my daughter loves. When she's sick and inconsolable, I turn the lights on in addition to the sound and drape her lovey over it so it's not quite as bright, and she'll just stare at it until she slowly drifts off to sleep.It's also quite durable. It dropped out of the backseat of our car onto the parking lot and was fine, except for a few scratches. At this price point, highly recommend.

This is so cute, but the Bluetooth drops signal at not even a really far distance so I couldn’t play music from my phone for my twins. Still like it for the light features though. May find an old phone to put in their room with it to play music through the Bluetooth.

I was super skeptical when I ordered this! I try to take in both good and bad reviews to determine If I will purchase or not. To my surprise, it was way more than I was expecting! First off, My nursery is woodland theme and the idea of fireflies in a mason was a plus! But the glowing of the fireflies was brighter than I expected and it has great sound! I haven’t tried to leave it on all night, but did leave it going for several hrs before shutting it off. Any sound machine for my babies I never expected to go all night anyhow, just hopeful it can help then fall asleep. The quality/feel it great! I would totally gift this to any friend or family member. The box it comes in could use some updating... but thats just packaging.
