No matter the setting it’s sensitive to every noise, walking, doors, talking.Dogs look at it but doesn’t stop them from barking or phase them. Tried training with the noise but it wasn’t effective. We have many dogs of multiple sizes and none of them were phased.

I wanted something that was not a shock colar so I went with this device to really help with reducing the barking and training. This particular device is pretty much a whistle that does not require me to blow into and it is something I can easily mount for when I am not home. Unfortunately my dog has started to bark loudly recently so this does help. I like the fact that this actually works so it keeps my dog from barking even when I am not home. The barking is not really heavy and is easy to install. I actually am able to take this on the go. The switch is a bit weird for me as it is not very well labeled. You have to learn it and just remember it over time. The settings are pretty well spaced out so you are not accidentally on the wrong setting. You do not need to do mount this but you do have to use your own 9 volt battery. It is pretty much good to go after that. The device is NOT water proof nor resistant so it will not put it outside in direct rain. You cannot really adjust the sound level from afar and you have to manually adjust it. The battery last for quite sometime but be aware this runs all the time. This is actually pretty effective on my dog. The black color makes it harder to see. My dog is actually a bit more obedient after using this for about a week and I do not really have to make any adjustment. Overall this does get results without needing to use a shock collar. It does feel more humane and you do not have to be at home. The battery last for quite sometime but depends on what you use. The sound does not effect anybody but the dogs although if you are near other dogs they will hear it so be aware of that. This device does have range. It does stay on so it drains the battery sooner. It is pretty effective and bit more humane than a shock collar. You can mount it but you do not have to. You do need to learn the setting though.

Completely useless and does absolutely nothing. We have 3 dogs; I left the unit in our foyer and they still bark every time anyone comes to the door just like they used to. Zero change at all. This is a 100% waste of money.

I'm sure that this would work for other people, but it didn't work for my dogs. I bought this because our husky (yep probably why it didn't work) would howl all night long and with 3 kids it makes it difficult for sleep. Our Heeler mix was okay with it. She isn't much of a barker though and when she did bark it was a couple boofs and she was done. Like I said, it probably work for for someone without a husky.

This worked great for the first two days. It stoped working after that. I changed the batteries and it still didn’t work. Not worth the money. ☹️

Item did not even my phase my german shepherd- 8month old. His head would turn to the side and back and forth -so I knew he was hearing it. But he continued to bark- maybe even more than before. Attempted to try over about a 30day period with no reduction in barking. Changed batteries and location etc. Item appears as described fast shipping easy to use. Just didn't work for me...

My dogs ran up to it and kept barking at it after I put it on my fence. I did leave it up because, well I paid for it and it does put out an interesting blinking light at night.

It didn't work at all. It arrived defective. I wouldn't take a chance on this one.
