I spent ages researching hair clippers and I’ve owned quite a few sets previously, from Wahl to Philips. I hadn’t heard of Andis but they appear to have a good reputation, and this set was well reviewed. But when I got them, I was disappointed. First, they are light and flimsy. The cover is made from thin plastic which, when you press it, gaps at the seams. Second, it feels low powered and requires multiple passes to shave the same area. Finally, it claims to cut down to 0.5mm but it looked like it didn’t achieve that, leaving my hair longer. It’s not a cheap unit so I would have expected more. Sticking with my Philips for now.

Bought this product in preparation for grooming my puppy. On going to use them found that they were faulty but out of 30 day period so buyer won’t exchange.

Did not find these cut my dogs fur very well at all. They made hard work of the whole process of clipping my dogs fur coat and Unless your dogs fur is very very thin they are useless. Not worth the money
