Pros & Cons
I recently bought a second Fire TV Stick which came with a two pin American plug. In order to use it straight away, I used my Apple iPhone charger to power it. I bought this charger to use on a more permanent basis. After about 5 minutes use with this charger, the fire Stick dropped out. I reset it and tried again. Same result. I tried it on my other Fire Stick on my other TV and it again dropped out after a few minutes. My uneducated conclusion is that the output voltage is not stable enough to power electronic equipment. As a charger, it works fine and charged my iPhone from 17% to 100% in 3 hours.
