I've had a $60 tanning pass for nearly two years. Due to time restraints, I use it maybe 1-2 per month. $700 a year wasted. I bought this two pack. After the first day I put it on, the next I had great results! Similar results to 3 visits to the tanning bed. I've had no issues with any color coming off on clothes or sheets. I'm very careful putting it on my skin evenly, and rubbing it in well. The only area I've had an issue is the back of my ankles where my skin creases. So now I've been careful to run close around that area to make it look even, but not on that area. I have very dark hair but my skin is a light medium. I've had no issues with my skin looking orange, other than the back of my ankles. I bought the face version for my face, which is more subtle, gives a great glow and less harsh. I've had this for about 10 days, but now using both about every other day after the first 4 days to maintain. Seems to start fading after about two to three showers. Can't beat the price and results.

I am a pasty white Irish guy to say the least. 50 years of being in the sun has given me a horrible permanent farmers tan with small white spots on my forearms from skin damage. Four days of use with this lotion has evened out my farmers tan and filled in the small spots on my forearms. My face has a natural even tan look. My kids are all half Latin blood so they are medium tan and I am as dark as they are now. No more farmers tan jokes! They thought I looked great so that says something.

I have very, very fair skin (as in NARS Siberia needs a bit of white mixer to actually be light enough to match me kind of "fair skinned") and while I enjoy my natural skintone I woke up the other morning kind of feeling having some kind of small tan/vaguely bronzed glow to my skin. I had gotten a sample tube of the St. Tropez Purity Brozing Gel a few weeks back for free, remembered I had it, and promptly went out and bought something for my whole body and got to work. I didn't want to spend a whole lot of money and wanted something that wouldn't be an instantaneous dark bronzed look in the event I absolutely hated it. I figured I can always go for an instant tanning product later on if I liked it or felt like this wasn't enough color. I did look up the two different color options before buying and a lot of folks said the darker option gave a more golden-olive hue than the lighter which was more of golden-peach and that the lighter shade was very very subtle. Since I have naturally yellow toned skin I knew I needed to go for the darker option for it to not look weird or possibly orange but also that the darker shade would likely at least give me a bit of noticeable color on the first day - which it did!I prepped my skin as best I could (exfoliated the absolute life out of it and shaved the night before and then applied a very light and non-sticky moisturizer to my dry areas like elbows, knees, ankles, and armpits before bed) and then the next morning I went at it. I applied everywhere that my bra and panties don't cover, including my ears and armpits. The lotion is somewhere on the average to heavy side which is great for my dry skin but I'd imagine oilier folks may not like it. It does dry down and sink in relatively quickly (3-5 minutes) and I didn't notice any kind of residual feeling or texture after that point. There is a scent but I thinks it's pretty subtle and I didn't notice it by the end of the day. Color-wise this is FABULOUS; it's very natural looking and while not super bronzed and tan it's given me a lovely golden glow that I'd guess is around 2 shades darker than my natural skin color after two applications in a row. I definitely did notice a little color from only one application but I was curious how much darker I'd get from another and was pleasantly surprised that while also noticeablely darker it wasn't way too much color. Obviously from my own starting point I still look pretty fair skinned but it's less Vampire-Fair and more Brushed Gold-Fair and I like it a lot.There is a bit of streaking that I noticed but it's super minor and in some hard to reach spots for me so I'm chalking that up to it being a technique thing on my part rather than a fault in the product because places like my arms, neck, and shins look flawless in comparison to the slightly imperfect ones. One thing to note for anyone not used to self-tanners though - it is SUPER IMPORTANT to prep your skin properly before doing it or you will have so many patchy, streaky, strange areas. Elbows, wrists, feet, ankles, anywhere with thin or dry skin will grab the color strong so be sure you avoid those areas until you just have a little residue left from applying elsewhere and then lightly brush over those areas. I wasn't as careful as I thought I was and had to spend a few minutes sugar-scrubbing my dark elbows to get some of the color off.Overall Pros/Cons:Pros:- It's easy to use/hard to screw up- Genuinely gradual color - it's not going to turn you 2-3 shades darker on one application even if you are super fair like me- Scent isn't obnoxious- natural looking color- good value - over two applications I've used about 1/3 of the bottle for my entire body so at $8 a tube for something to try out I think that's great. Also I was a little heavy handed the first go so I probably could have used less than I actually did.Cons:- because it's not instant color it can be hard to tell where you've already put it. I'd suggest just trying to work in quadrants but it's not going to give you a super uneven color if you do overlap in places- It's subtle. For me this is more of a pro but I know some people like really deep tans so please be aware this is not going to give you that from one or two applications- it's somewhat heavy so there are going to be folks with certain skin types that just will not like how this feels. If that is the case - an alternative is the St Tropez bronzing gel is super lightweight and while not as gradual as this it will actually give you a pretty natural looking color (I got a sample in my Allure box that I used on my face with this on my body and it's stellar).In all, I think this is a pretty great subtle tanner that's beginner friendly or great for clowns like me that wake up one morning and decide "I got a bottle of sample tanner, let's buy something for the rest of me and dump them all over 2 hours before work and see what happens!" And pale skinned people need not be afraid of the darker option (but I'll still be afraid of the dark instant-tanners because man I've seen those go super dark).

I’m a 57 year old man, who doesn’t want to wear foundation for my aging skin. I only use this product like a facial foundation. I have olive undertones and decided to go with the light to medium coverage. I didn’t want ppl to think I had done anything, so I gradually applied to facial area like you would do if putting makeup on. I control how I apply it, so it looks natural. Day 1 and 2 apply skip day 3, then apply again on day 4 and 5, skip day 6 and apply it again on day 7. I find that I can really tell when to use it as to not get to dark. The product is great, no orange or terrible smells. This is my go to product. And I don’t have to use makeup. Awesome product for men and women.

It does last long even with showering and it gets more visible day by day even without constantly reapplying. Only flaw is that you really have to be careful of how much you use…especially on elbows and inside arm. It does have a little bit of and orange tint so you can tell it’s not natural but it’s not terrible for price.

I don’t use this to look like I have a tan. I use this so I don’t look sickly during the winter time. Lol I just want to look like I have a normal color to my skin during the winter months. It does have a tanner smell to it but nothing that bad.

This is my favorite and all I buy for a face moisturizer. I like the feel of it on my face - just moist; not greasy. I also like the bit of “color” it gives my face so I don’t look washed out.

Supergoede zelfbruiner, het is niet in één keer, maar geleidelijk dat je een kleurtje krijgt, al zie je wel al resultaat na een paar keer, het smeert heel goed open, en hydrateert je huid ook, en vooral het is niet plakkerig!

Ger fin brun färg, gillar verkligen gradual tanning variant, blir lättare att applicera med säkrare resultat. Bättre då att lägga på igen om det behövs. Den doftar gott först och sedan avger den inte så mkt bus-doft, helt ok och det försvinner efter nästa dusch, mycket viktigt tycker jag! När jag har fått lite färg är även medium/tan färgen fin. Provar ibland andra bus-produkter men kommer tillbaka till denna. Använder den endast på benen.Började använda i Florida och synd att den är så dyr att skicka efter här i Sverige, annars mkt nöjd!

I first discovered this in the US many years ago, the only place I can buy here is on Amazon. Love it, its the best tanning cream every, looks really natural, easy to apply, perfect!
