Q: Shackle won’t press in to allow me to set combination. also when i took padlock out of the bag it was already open. any suggestions please!

Check to make sure locking is set at ‘0,0,0,0’ Press in and see if it locks on these numbers. It may be set by someone accidentally already. Follow the instructions exactly. When you move the hook around to 90 ° you should be able to push in slightly. Make sure it’s the right side you turn the hook. Copy the diagram exactly!

Both mine worked with the default combination and set without issue to what I wanted. However, some have mentioned there’s were set to 1000. Maybe worry a try?

You can only reset the lock WHEN it is OPENED i.e. when you line it up, press it down then reset it. You cannot reset a lock when it is locked otherwise you could go to every gym and steal people processions.

Turn shackle 90 degree counter clockwise and press down. Pressing down, turn shackle another 90 degree so shackle remains in down position. Set dails from top to bottom to new code. Turn shackle back clockwise 90 degree, lift and return clockwise 90 degree to closing position.
