I purchased this for leather hole punching. It does a great job.

I am a relatively new leather worker but I have made about four pairs of shoes and around 25-30 small pieces like wallets and books. This press thing is great for taking the worst job — pounding holes for stitching — and making it into a fast procedure.I am impressed with the accuracy of the arm — there is zero movement — and the included pricking irons are decent quality. It assembles easily and works smoothly and efficiently. I would certainly buy another one.

I bought this after nearly ordering a handyman press to punch biothane. This was £350 cheaper so thought I'd give it a go and it's brilliant, very sturdy and cuts through it like butter. Very happy with it thank you.

I work with leather and needed a faster, more accurate, and specially, more quiet way of punching holes in the leather. I live in an apartment complex so hammering in the holes with a mallet not only made for a very hard practice to keep a straight line of holes but it was very loud and impossible to produce the volumes that I needed for my projects.
