The Ultimate Guide to The Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past

Great walkthrough. Not much of a strategy guide. It is basically a printed walkthrough with some pictures added in. It is well bound, printed well and easy to follow. It tells you step by step what to do, go left here, go up kill this guy for key, go up again.. etc. It does have info on the game, enemies and characters.It doesn't have dungeon maps or collection lists, it just walks you through the game step by step area by area.This would be a good purchase for someone who hasn't played the game and wants to find everything.. but not good for someone looking to find items they may have missed in a their current game.

A nice looking guide, but not an authentic Nintendo guide.Plain pages, plain typing with dark pictures. Quite disappointing to me as a gamer.Would help out you through the game if you don't mind a simple (presentation) guide that is not an official guide of Nintendo

This author has been praised, and criticized for publications in past reviews. I can see why, for each, occasionally. This walkthrough does a lot for my gameplay. Few writing errors, that are far more minor than any handwritten notes I've made while trying to remember an order of game play. I call that WIN!

I really like this guy's guides. I have bought the first three zelda ones and they turned out to be really informative and helpful. They kinda look like they were just printed out on some home computer but I don't mind. The cover looks great.

I would have given this 5 starts, but there weren't really maps of each room. This is a helpful guide though. Or shortcuts to get to each Boss room if any. But did tell you where to find extra hidden items.

While not as exhaustive as the Nintendo Power strategy guide for this game from back in the day, this is a good, affordable alternative that will point you in the right direction.

Got it in today! Great book! Tons of pictures and easy to follow. Plus a good history of the franchise. I hope the next book is for the 1993 version of Link's Awakening!!! I will be buying more soon.

I actually just played thru this game for the first time a few months ago and wish I had this guide when I did. The walkthrough is well written and complete. The pictures are all well placed and very helpfull. Great guide for a great game!

well laid out and easy to find what you're looking for and when you do the explanation of puzzles and trap etc are easy to follow i bought this book for my collection as i clear this game once a year generally and although at this stage i dont need a guide its nice to have for reference should i not be able to remember something off the top of my head if i were to have one criticism it would be that id have liked to have seen the side quests like heart pieces and optional gear as a separate section at the end of the book so as to speed up finding the relevant information
