This worked perfectly for my Samsung Front loading dryer
The media could not be loaded. Â I woke up to dry some clothes before the kids were sent off to school and what do you know....no heat was coming from my dryer. Searched amazon and found this beauty. This product works as intended. As a tip you do not have to remove the drum of the washer to slid in the new part. The quality seems to meet or exceed that of the OEM part. I am extremely happy with my purchase.

Good replacement part!
I've ordered this 2 times. Sounds bad I know but it isn't lol. I bought it about 4 to 5 years ago when the original coil went bad. Perfect fit and ran for 5 years before burning out. Heck I'll replace it every 5 years if it saves me buying a new dryer lol Buy this lol

Pleased with the product
Our dryers heating element stopped working and so after reading up we decided to purchase this to fix ourselves. Reading reviews it stated it did not have the longevity that the original element had. We purchased one and got almost three years out of it. We just replaced it with this same one again. I’m okay spending $30 if it gives me another three years without having to make a new appliance purchase. Husband was able to watch a YouTube video on replacing it and did so fairly quickly. I would buy again -and have.

No need to call Sally Struthers for a degree in dryer repair...
As everyone else here has said, my Samsung Dryer would run, but no heat. After some quick research on the internet I noticed that a burnt out element was a common issue on these guys, so I Amazon Primed (Aka Magic'd) me one of these bad boys.. 24 hours later, it's showed up at my front door. So, I decided to take this project on myself. I called around and was quoted about $300 for the install -- Which seemed expensive, but there were very few 'Samsung Authorized' repair shops in my area, and most places wanted diagnosis fees and crap... So, I figured $300 buys A LOT of beer, so I might as well try this out myself. So, on a scale of 1 to 10, I'd rate the install a 3-4. I would compare the skill set needed for this would be around that to confidently assemble a child's toy and then install a light-dimmer, since the hardest part is really disassembly and being confident that the dryer is unplugged. I actually found a video online where someone does the install from the back of the dryer, but that is not needed. The front of the dryer comes apart VERY easily. The tricky part is pulling the element box out, and making sure the thermostats get connected back properly.Quick Steps:1. Take out screws for the top (on the back of the dryer). Slide lid off.2. Take screws out for control panel. pop out. Unplug (Mine had 2 plugs).3. Take screws out for front panel (Top). Pull up slowly and out and it pops out. There is a plug here too for the light.4. Unscrew/Pull out dryer vent duct work.(Note: At this time, you can use an Ohm meter to test the element. The front two grey leads on the box will be the ones you wanna use. This will make it so if the element is not the problem, you can re-assemble and call an expert and save yourself some time)5. On the bottom right, there is a metal box. Has 3 screw's and a stand. Take out the screws, and pull out the stand. (The stand has tangs on the bottom that anchor it into the dryer. Might need to squeeze a lil to get it out.6. As you pull the box out, disconnect the leads to the element, and the two thermostats. Note the color/location of the wires.7. Have a beer.8. Open the box, replace element, and then do the steps above in reverse. Also, make sure you keep track of where the screws went. Some go into plastic, and some into metal. You don't wanna mix those up, and the metal screws can split the plastic. This is also a very good time to figure out WHY the element burnt out. Check all of your exhaust piping, and make sure the vent flap outside is not stuck/clogged (Which mine was). If there is a lot of lint inside your dryer, it's most likely a blockage issue The reason these elements are prone to burning out is the amount of airflow needed to keep them cool.Good Luck!!P.s. Anyone find it aggravating that they have a "Smart" dryer, yet it's too dumb to tell you that the element is burnt out? Silly Samsung.

Non-genuine OEM part?
I received a product that does not seem to be identified as a genuine Samsung product, even though the product page said "by Samsung".Documents online say a Samsung OEM part should have the model number stamped on the chassis, where this is not the case (see attached pic; top=original, bot=replacement). Also, wire gauge of the coil seems to be different than the original (thicker). It's not clear how this will affect the life of this product or any others that rely on this part (high-temp cutoff thermostat, etc).

Great Product - Saved me some Money - Pay Attention to Special Instructions !
Just received and replaced this original product from Amazon on Samsung DV203AES/XAC (Dryer). I looked at the video by tallfarmboy named "How to Replace Samsung Dryer Heating Element DIY Step by Step". Couple of suggestion before you start working on this project.a) The edges around the dryer are very very sharp and if you have bare hands, you will likely cut yourself. Please wear gloves on both hands.b) Before you disconnect any wires, take a photograph with your phone so that you know how to connect it back together.c) Thoroughly clean up the dryer of all dirt and lint before you close the dryer. It will save you a lot of trouble later. Specifically, remove the lint holder (only requires 3 screws to be removed) and clean up the air flow unit.d) Once you remove the heater assembly, you will most likely find a lot of lint and dirt on top of the heater intake duct. Do clean it up.Bottom-line, do a thorough clean up before you box the unit back together. You will increase the lift of the components.

Good Fit
Fit perfect and works great.Update - Make sure you clean your vent/exhaust. I did it once in the spring which was not enough. I found my vent to be half clogged. Ill give this product the benefit of a doubt this time. It did last longer than my factory element though. It lasted 2 years 6 months before burning out. Ran at least 350 drying cycles on normal. This one had a very weird smell on the first load even though i vacuumed the inside of the dryer out everywhere. Maybe the element was oiled ? I don’t know.Element stamp as followsDC47-00019A240V 5300W40BE112303ZIM HADBOORJ - R is backwards.

Perfect fit and functionality
The heat died on my Samsung dryer. A YouTube video helped me to quickly figure out that the problem wasn't the thermostat or the regulator, but the heating coil itself. Another YouTube video taught me how to remove the housing around the heating coil, to take out the coil. Easy enough.Local stores wanted over $150 for the replacement coil. And it was a holiday weekend. I ordered the coil from amazon at 9:15 pm on Saturday evening, paying $16 for delivery scheduled for the holiday Monday. The coil arrived at 11:15 am on Sunday morning and we were back in business by noon that day.The coil is a perfect match for what I had to replace and, six weeks later, with near-daily use, remains entirely functional. All good.

~90 mins to swap out. Heats like new again.
Took about 90 minutes to swap this out. Spent about half that time just getting the containment unit out and putting it back in due to the awkward positioning and narrow spaces. Thought about taking the drum off to make it easier to get to the containment unit, but ultimately decided against it since spooling the thread back in looked like that could go wrong.Replacement unit was identical in shape, material, and build to the original. Dryer heats like new again.Would have really helped if Samsung had just put a service hatch on the side to get at the containment unit, since this appears to be the part that breaks most often.
