Great Product if you have a visual impairment.
This product has helped me enjoy reading and doing crossword puzzles. I have a visual impairment and reading has become an arduous task even with my glasses. This product makes the print large and the lighting helps my sight even more. This product is a lifestyle changer.

The best
I love that it’s rechargeable and the light really helps me to see the words on my books; only thing is I have to hold it it with one hand while trying to read or turn a page; would be nice if I had a way to put it around my neck so I could keep it fixed exactly where I need it

Smaller than in picture
This magnifier does the job but beware, if you don't read the specs and rely on the picture of it, you will be deceived. They photoshop the picture of the guy but in fact the magnifier is smaller. I didn't read the actual specs until after it was delivered so I was disappointed when it arrived. It is a gift for my brother-in-law so if he doesn't think it will work for him then I will probably keep it for myself to do close work on needlepoint. The magnification is good but I hate that they do this stuff to fool you.

not returnable when defective!
Rechargeable battery...could not find an adapter for it on Amazon or on MagniPro's website. When full page MagniPro 5X Magnifier arrived, the switch to turn it on was defective. Tried to get switch to work...no luck. So decided to RETURN it. Received return label and lithium battery warning label for carton, told I had until 2/25/24 to return it and that I would receive a FULL REFUND when Amazon received it back: instructed that I had to contact CUSTOMER SERVICE BEFORE shipping it...because Amazon not allowed to receive things with lithium batteries...for FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS. After a frustrating hour WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE CHAT: I was told I was "too late" and it was NOT RETURNABLE ...wouldn't let me type anything further that I had until 2/25/24 to return it....CHAT just kept repeating that AMAZON COULD NOT RECEIVE ANYTHING WITH LITHIUM BATTERIES IN IT BACK. Customers should be warned of this at the TIME OF PURCHASE. Also we should be told it was NOT RETURNABLE UPFRONT INSTEAD OF SENDING US A RETURN SHIPPING LABEL AND PUTTING US THRU THE EFFORT AND GRIEF OF TODAY'S CHAT WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am a long-time customer of Amazon's and this is the first time I have ever felt betrayed and very disappointed in Amazon.

Not all as described, but serves the purpose
Very light-then I realized there were no batteries in. Description says no batteries required. Lens says "glass". Didn't think it could be, at 4 oz. But why not just admit its a fresnel lens? Bad reflection under regular lamp, probably not practical in sunlight. LEDs are great. Wanted it to read the fine print notes in my Bible, so that works. Wanted rechargeable anyway, but reviews were even worse. So, we'll see how long this one lasts. I'll keep it.

Very well made.
Nice Product. One thing.Instructions need to be in large print , not in very very small print. That’s why the magnifying glass was bought. Because the Pearson can’t see. Not Very thought out.

Doesn't magnify very well, but the frame is what is most horribly made
I'm sorry to trash this product, but it was surprisingly apparent just how badly this thing is made, right out of the box. It actually makes me angry that these things will all just end up straight in the landfill. You have to place your batteries into a little area in the frame. It is almost impossible to open the little door to the battery area without breaking the frame or cracking the face of the magnifier. If you are lucky enough to get that open, you have to force the 3 batteries into a very tight channel, and then you have to hope that you can force the plastic door to close properly. Using the magnifier is ok, but not great...images don't magnify too many times bigger and are not super clear looking. but the WORST part is when the batteries die, it actually IS IMPOSSIBLE to remove all 3 of the batteries. They are just stuck in there. I called Amazon to return it, but I wanted my batteries back. I told them that the only way I could do this would be to crack the frame open. They instructed me to do that and then to return it to them. It is a wasteful product...and shocking that it is priced at $20. Though, I would be returning it, eve if it were 3 dollars. It is worthless. How on earth did it ever pass quality control to be manufactured??

I am so glad I got this magnifying glass with gooseneck. There are so many ways to use it
I keep it near my bed so I can use it to read. The gooseneck is flexible and stays in place. The magnifying glass clips neatly into the gooseneck and stays in place. But because the magnifying glass isn't permanently attached, I find myself using it for many other things. For example I used it to read the tiny print on a bottle of eyedrops my doctor prescribed for allergies.I also use it to read fine print when I am going through the mail. And because I keep it near my bed anyway for reading, I also often end up grabbing it to take a quick look at my laptop screen when an email or message pops up all without me having to get up. The magnifying glass is very lightweight so holding it with one hand or using it attached to the gooseneck around my neck is no problem. It's also big enough I don't have to carefully examine whatever spot I'm looking at as I would have to with a small magnifying glass. I simply hold it in front of me and my eyes can follow along as I read. I keep mine clean with a screen cleaner solution I have which is the same I use for my laptop screen, but I think even a little soap and water would do just fine. I'm glad I got it and I recommended it to my mother and everyone I know who hates documents with fine print, or who constantly have to search for their pair of reading glasses. I can get all that done and still lay down and use it to read a good book,

Made of plastic not very clear view
The size of the screen is good and theLight but not a clear view, made of poor plastic would have liked this to be made of quality glass.
