Good for car sound deadening
alrighty then. I used 3 rolls of the U.Seal and (2) rolls of http://www.amazon[DOT]com/Thermwell-FV516-Frost-King-Insulation/dp/B000IO6Q2Y/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1426116646&sr=8-8&keywords=duct+insulation in my 2011 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE Z71, as sound a deadener. It works like a champ. I covered all the bare areas of my front and rear floorboards, the tranny hump. As well as the front and back doors. All of the install is completely out of sight. Under carpet, or behind panels. There is no smell that I can discern. I had my sister and my nephews with me to go out for dinner, they said didn't smell anything while in the truck. I couldnt swear to it, but I think my speakers / sound is better all around. there is ZERO vibration in any of my doors or panels, hell none at all inside the truck. I have long tube headers and a full flowmaster exhaust on this bad boy, and not that it was bad before, but this helps the cab stay a little more pleasant.*note: be sure to get a roller or something for install. The aluminum backing will cut you quick. I used a Sponge paint roller that I ripped the sponge off of, and just used the remaining hard plastic roller ($2.50 h0m3 d3p0t) And The handle end of a screwdriver. This product cuts well with boxknife on a board or something,

Fantastic for HVAC duct repairs
Wow, sometimes you discover a product on the isle of the home improvement store, take it home, and it blows you away. I had leaky HVAC vents under the house. They've been repaired several times over 50 years, so there's a mish-mash of different types of ductwork-mainly sheet metal and plastic-wrapped fiberglass. There were many leaky joints, and one eight-inch-diameter hole chewed by a rodent. This stuff fixed it all. It's like 6-inch-wide foil tape, except the adhesive is like a 1mm layer of roofing tar. Warning: Once you press it in place, it's not coming back off without some effort!I peeled off previous layers of foil tape and fiberglass insulation in order to get down to a solid surface this would adhere to. This has enough stiffness that I could use it to patch the eight-inch-hole. Two strips all the way around the 12-inch duct did the trick. It adheres well to itself. It does NOT stick well to raw fiberglass insulation. Use duct tape or possibly lighter-weight foil tape for that.I can't wait for my next gutter repair job...

Good stuff / but half the price at home depot
First of all, I bought this at home depot for less than $17 (25' x 6"), and I'm looking right now at an amazon price of over $38 !Sticking pretty good to my roof ( yes I'm actually using for its intended purposes, not sound proofing!).Putting on clean surfaces and it grabs like crazy. In fact, i was working on a long segment along the roof edge and got some wrinkles I had to leave in. Time will tell of course, but I have other areas that need work now so I'm headed back to the depot....

Durable, very strong, bends and adhesive is fantastic. Can cut with regular scissors. I bought 2 of these Aug 2018 at Home Depot for 16.45.Needed one more but didn't want to drive. Figured go to Amazon.Being sold here by maker USEAL for 49.99?? Worth the drive.
