I recently purchased this stud finder and have been extremely satisfied with its performance.The stud finder is comfortable to hold, with a design that fits well in the hand. Its large, backlit screen is easy to read, even in dimly lit spaces, which is a significant advantage when working on projects in various lighting conditions. The device beeps when it finds a stud, providing clear feedback, even when the screen is out of view.This stud finder offers three scanning depths, which can help find studs even when they are behind thick or irregular drywall. Additionally, it has modes for detecting metal (like metal studs, pipes, and rebar) and AC current.As long as the scanning depth is set correctly, this stud finder does an excellent job at finding studs. The bar graph in the middle of the screen gives real-time feedback about how close you are to finding a stud edge, while the arrows indicate which side of the stud you're on.The instructions that come with the stud finder are easy to follow, and I was successfully scanning within minutes. The wire and metal stud detection feature works incredibly well, accurately detecting the presence of any metallic objects within the wall. This feature alone makes it worth it for the price. The clear LCD display provides real-time feedback, making it easy to locate the exact location of studs in the wall.One minor issue I did encounter was when detecting wooden studs. While the device is generally accurate, it can be a little finicky at times. However, I found that using the 1-inch setting helped overcome this issue, and I was able to locate the studs without any problems.

The media could not be loaded.  I'm building a sound room and using two sheets of drywalls instead of one. Locating the studs was easy with this stud finder. It out performed my old stud finder because it can 'see' deeper.I couldn't share another video where I located a hot wire behind OSB boards. I did learn that the wire needs to be live to sense it. When the switch is off, it showed only a 30% bar but when the switch is on, it showed 100%.Another thing that is great with this unit is the calibration. It is done with a single click and once it is calibrated, bar graph returns to 0%, i can move it without pressing and holding a button like my old stud finder.The feature of showing you if you are to the right or left of a stud is very handy. I slowed down as i approach a stud and when the bar graph shows 100%, i mark the center where the notch is. Very handy and i would recommend this stud finder.I did not try metal detecting because I don't have any metal behind my walls.

It's takes the guess workmout of hanging or drilling holes in the walls. Bonus is it finds the wires so you won't drill into them as well. Perfect tool for a DIYer.

This thing is much better than expected. The indicator is intuitive and accurate. The grip is also ergonomic It's certainly much better than Zircon's overpriced garbage M4 or W4 that constantly cries for battery.
