Runaway Love Paperback – 4 May 2023

From the chemistry between the characters to the character growth, everything was splendid. Amazing light read to freshen up the mood. Loved it :D

A one time read though I would've loved more Adelaide and Owen but overall it's a Goodread. And I'm sure I'm going to continue this series😂

I think it's safe to say that Melanie Harlow has become one of my favorite authors this year. I was so ecstatic when I received an ARC of Runaway Love and I just knew that I would end up loving Austin and Veronica. This book was the perfect mix of sweet, heartmelting moments along with some spicy scenes as well. I absolutely adored Adelaide and Owen along with Xander (obviously, because how could you NOT love that man???). This book was drama free with mature characters and a healthy dose of grumpy x sunshine and found family. If you're looking for a sweet and spicy single dad, small town romance, then look no further because this book is the one for you🥰 Also fyi, I'm SO excited to read the next book in this series because it happens to be my favorite character's book hehe🤭😍*Thank you to Melanie Harlow and Valentine PR for providing me with an ARC!🤎

What a sweet, fun and cute story- absolutely adorable!This was such a wonderfully fun and hot read with lots of tension, hilarious banter, angst and a delicious push and pull! I loved the found family- It warmed my heart so much. The epilogue was chef’s kiss!”It only happens once.”Austin was the grumpy, jealous and possessive mmc, and to no one’s surprise; the one who has sworn off love but ended up falling head first. He was stubborn and selfless and put his family and kids before himself. I loved that about him, and I loved even more how Veronica made him realize he could also choose his own happiness. Veronica, Roni, was the sunshine out of the two. She was also bubbly and quick witted and really challenged Austin. I also loved that she fought for herself and didn’t let anyone walk over her anymore.I felt like they were well developed and complex characters. Austin was locked in place struggling with disappointing his family and putting himself first for once. Roni was struggling with her abandonment issues and putting her trust in people. I liked how they both grew as individuals throughout the book and as they learned to trust each other they both also learned more about themselves. Their chemistry was so good. So was the smut. When they caved and gave into the palpable tension between them, it had me squealing and screaming- it was so good! This was just perfect.Austin’s twins were adorable! The only thing I missed with this book was more time with the twins. I loved the humor and sweet moments they added to the story!Oh, and the epilogue! It had me tearing up. It was perfect and so sweet! Exactly what you want from an epilogue!

It is a sweet story! I enjoyed it! It was also an easy read. Cant wait for the next one!

COMO EU AMO OS LIVROS DA MELANIE!Seguindo meu costume eu devorei esse livro em um dia e amei cada segundo. Foi um das químicas entre personagens que mais me pegou e eu amei cada segundo entre a Roni e o Austin. Não vejo a hora de ler o resto da série!!!

I love all the characters, they have deep feelings and reactions, Melanie is a great writer, you are going to love this book

Eine super schöne Liebesgeschichte. Hat mir viel Spaß gemacht zu lesen, werde direkt das nächste Buch lesen und dabei wie ein kleines Mädchen kichern. 😄😍
