Bible Map Insert (Find Every Place Mentioned in the Bible) Paperback – Import, 1 January 2012

I have purchased about 8 of these Bible Map Inserts already, and am about to purchase some more. I find them very useful in locating places mentioned in my daily scripture reading. The map inserts are printed on plastic, so are durable. They can be attached (there is a two sided adhesive strip that comes in the packet) to the back of your Bible, or used like I do, as a loose booklet. A number of the maps have the Old or New Testament locations printed in black on the basic page and a transparent "Modern Day" overlay in red ink to show current country boundaries and cities. The index is, in my experience very good. The bigest problem in trying to determine where a place is being that there is historical uncertainty as to some of the locations, as well as the problem of multiple locations with the same name.I keep multiple copies of this map on hand because I use multiple books for my daily scripture reading. I also have given a few copies away in the past three years that I have been using the "Bible Map Insert" published by Son Light Publishers, Inc.

This insert does fit perfectly inside my bible. A tip for you is that it comes with staples down the spine and also three staples along the front off to the side. The three staples down the front side make it difficult to open the book all the way and because of the staples in the spine the ones in the front are useless. I removed them with no harm to the book. The print is small and difficult to read (I do not wear glasses or need them) but, if your buying for someone who has difficulty with vision you might consider that.I love how the overlay is in a different color for easy then and now viewing. I love that you can write on the pages with a dry erase and not damage it. Overall a good purchase.

This is a great insert for your Bible and helps you visualize the land as you read through the Bible!! It makes you feel like you are actually there experiencing all the different areas; such as where Sarah was buried, the plot Abraham purchased etc. The insert is easy to read, and has all the information you need to find the many places written in the scriptures. I found this insert after I purchased the Then and Now Bible Insert and I enjoy both of them....but thats another review isn't it!!!! I'm just learning the features of this booklet. It really isn't what I was expecting. I thought it would be a bunch of foldout maps. This fits my Bible and helps to compare ancient and current areas.

Small enough to fit in your Bible. Has more data than maps alone. Has Then-and-Now maps and other useful things. Every Bible should contain a copy.
