Upright Piano Dolly (Black)

This piano dolly is exactly as advertised. It's frame is sturdy enough for the heaviest of uprights. The casters are large which makes rolling across a carpet easy. Their covering is soft material which will not mar hardwood floors. I chose this particular dolly because its advertised depth would accommodate the 15 3/8" depth of my piano. Plenty of room to spare. The method of securing the piano to the dolly works and the piano does not rock while played. The bottom board of my piano is about 3/4" lower than the perimeter of the full bottom and is only 11 3/4" deep, so I was concerned about rocking. The added height of the piano does not affect pedaling. The rollers on the back of the dollies are a nice touch and will help protect a wall. I consider the dollies a permanent installation, as living room furniture always needs moving, but their removal would be easy if required.

Yes! Very easy to use and install! Makes all the difference if your piano needs to move about like at a church or school or studio.
